8. In 1990s when taliban massacred Hazaras, Uzbeks and Tajiks in the north, the reistance got new energy. After regrouping resistance in Dare-Suf, Sare Pol, Bamiyan, Takhar, Badakhshan & other areas intensified in late 1999s.
