It took 8 yrs of showing up & advocating for pain pts in a myriad of ways. Of giving a megaphone to many of the 'important' ppl. It took a while, but I learned from some of the best.

There are far more people in pain we will NEVER hear about. The people who will lose their life due to pain induced complications, more CPP deaths than not will be written off as 'natural', suicides that will go unreported due to both opioid and suicide societal stigma. 😔
