Let's talk about vitamins and glutathione infusion use in the skin.
Naturally, most of the vitamins we need are gotten from the diet especially in someone feeding well and is not malnourished. Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant -
2. Oxidants are produced in the body normally due to the various processes that take place. They're also important in bacterial killing. Antioxidants protect the body from oxidants especially when they're getting overwhelming. Glutathione is produced by the liver and in a healthy
3. person, your body makes enough. In people with certain conditions like liver disease or conditions where there are a lot of oxidants e.g cancers, glutathione supplementation has been documented to be beneficial.

One of the side effects of glutathione which is temporary is
4. that it lightens the skin through the inhibition of melanin production. It was not made for that purpose initially. Some studies have attempted to assess the safety of glutathione in lightening the skin in healthy subjects, but they are studies with limited sample size
5. and in some, participants dropped out due to significant adverse effects. Oral glutathione doesn't do much skin lightening because the oral formulations have limited bioavailability (not readily available for the body to use after taking).
6. So, the verdict on vitamin and glutathione infusion in healthy people who are not deficient? - Not approved for skin lightening or just rejuvenation without any deficiency as the benefits do not outweigh the risks.

Are people going to use it? - Yes
7. Are doctors going to prescribe it- Yes
Do some dermatologists support its use? - Yes.
Do I use it for my patients? - No

The most important thing is that both parties are made the decision after reviewing benefits and risks and they decided on it without coercion.
8. They're all adults. In medicine, the decision of the patient is to be respected without condescension.

9. In the study where 9 out of 25 dropped out, the major adverse effect was liver dysfunction.
Other reported adverse effects of glutathione as quoted from the article include adverse cutaneous eruptions including potentially fatal Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS)
10. and toxic epidermal necrolysis (TEN), severe abdominal pain, thyroid dysfunction, renal dysfunction, and lethal complications such as air embolism, or potentially fatal sepsis due to incorrect/unsterile method of IV administration and use of counterfeit GSH...

1. Before you say, "she stole my idea," remember that ideas are one in a million. That same thing you're thinking of has been thought of by thousands if not millions of people. The world has billions of people in it. Surely, you must know that ideas are not specific to one person.
2. It is not the idea that is most important, what makes an idea become yours are the ones you executed and brought to fruition. If you actually have an idea that nobody has ever thought of and you don't find anything remotely similar to it after you've done extensive research,
3. know that the idea may be worth dropping. It is unlikely to be successful especially when it is a business venture. If it is just something you want to do to give you an emotional high, by all means....go ahead. But if you intend to make money from that venture,

Acne can be one of the most rewarding yet frustrating conditions to treat. Rewarding because some people respond to treatment so rapidly, frustrating because acne is manageable rather than curable and relapses occur often.
2. It is so common that it is impossible not to have patients at my clinic with acne in a week. Adolescent acne tends to be worse in boys while adult acne(acne in people 25 years and above) is worse in females.
Did you know that for adolescent acne, even without doing anything,
3. it resolves in a lot of cases on its own? Especially when you don't pick your face and you don't do all the wrong things....like putting lemon on your face?

That combination you mentioned up there has lemon which can cause irritant dermatitis for a lot of people.

1. There are some things that I will never understand. There are some things that I can almost say, "nahh can never happen to me."
I will never understand dragging someone that you call a friend on a public platform. And I can almost say it can never happen to me.
2. Because if it happens to me, then we can NEVER go back to being friends. A kì tilé ejó dé, ká tún ma s'òré - We don't come back from court on opposing sides and still remain thick as thieves. We can go back to being civil, but never cordial.
3. Once bitten twice shy, twice bitten, babanla stupidity.

So when I see 'close friends' dragging themselves from here till Alaska, spilling their deepest secrets and they come back chummy again...I just smile to myself. It will happen again. Because, they don't understand

1. The art of communication- Not just communication but communicating effectively. Are you wondering why your messages are never replied? You just might be talking to yourself....
Learn the art of effective communication; both written and spoken and you'll be surprised at how
2. you'll get everything you want from people almost everytime.
When you want to send a DM to someone you don't know and you need something from, write on a notepad first and let everything be in a message. You're unlkely to get any response to "hello," "salam" "hey"
3. You don't need to be asking them about the weather and whether they've eaten. You're the one that contacted them. State your message after basic pleasantries. E.g

1. The greatest mistake we often make in relationships is thinking that people change for US. Rarely do adults change except they gain insight into whatever bad behavior they have and then have a personal conviction to change. You sef think am, have you changed for someone?
2. When you change for a person and not because you think it is the right thing to do, the change doesn't last most times. But when you do it because you've had an epiphany, the change often persists. In relationships, you pick your poison. You will likely not get your 100%
3. from one person as your partner will likely not get from you. You stick to a person when they have most of the things you want and what is lacking is NOT a deal-breaker for you.

I was tagged to a post on Facebook of someone that had used an organic product gone wrong. If it wasn't a colleague that tagged me, I would have just ignored. Because it seems the voices of caution and reasoning are no longer listened to. Image
2. People have adopted the "if I perish, I perish" attitude.

Any product that claims to be organic and turns you five shades lighter in two weeks is nothing but trouble.

Organic but gives you patches of colors is nothing but bad news.

Organic but has no list of ingredients
3. is nothing but rubbish.

It is just sad that people that have good products with good quality control are affected because of all the rubbish people are parading out there.

It is VERY easy to damage the skin, but repairing may become a herculean task.
