Judge is leaning into his concern about the "very troubling" statement Bancroft made about nancy pelosi
He's repeated "very troubling" several times. He's seemingly warning her ahead of sentencing (later date) about his concern.
Judge: "outrageous statement.. against anyone"
!!!! DC federal judge Emmet Sullivan, during plea agreement hearing today in this lower-level case, says some defendants on January 6 "morphed into terrorists"
Sentencing scheduled for 2022 in the case of Dawn Bancroft
Judge cites busy court calendar and holidays.
Looks like Jan 2022

STARTING NOW: Sentencing in Jan 6 case of Derek Jancart, who pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. Feds say he brought radios & gear to Capitol and posted on facebook, "Anyone
know the laws on pick axes in D.C.?”
Will judge order *prison time*?
Standby
Feds want prison time for Jancart
"He's a veteran", "He was alerting others the Capitol was not heavily guarded", "He brought a gas mask"... "He *did* incite violence"
Prosecutor argues Jancart was celebrating violence. "This defendant spent 40 minutes inside the Capitol Building on January 6"
And she argues Jancart "deleted" evidence from his phone
In superseding indictment, feds allege group of Jan 6 defendants *conspired* as early as December 2020.... including to "stop the steal and stand behind Trump when he decides to cross the rubicon"
Feds say one of the accused "Solicited his Facebook community for donations from other “patriots” asking them for financial support in exchange for a “personal thank you video shot on location in Washington, D.C."
Ronald Sandlin and Nathan DeGrave have pleaded NOT GUILTY to charges
Feds allege the pair and a 3rd defendant (who's pleaded guilty in earlier case) traveled together to DC in rental car w/ guns, ammo, walkie talkies, taser, knives, mace, paramliitary gear
NEW: US Justice Dept recommends FOUR MONTHS PRISON for sentence in Jan 6 case of Derek Jancart, an Air Force veteran who's pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in Capitol
Jancart was accused of having gas mask, going to Pelosi suite, being among 1st "50-100" inside Capitol
Feds: "As an Air Force veteran, Jancart was well aware of the great jeopardy posed by violent entry into the Capitol by the rioters and Jancart was also aware of the violence required to make that entry into the Capitol."
Feds: "While Jancart’s military service is laudable, it renders his conduct on January 6 all the more egregious. As a former military member, Jancart was well aware that taxpayer status does not bestow upon a person the right to enter restricted government buildings."
At 11am - Jan 6 defendant Pauline Bauer, who's made conflicting statements about being sovereign citizen & was defending herself in case, requests release from pretrial jail ..... with the help of a lawyer
Judge just told Bauer, “you’ve shown complete disregard for the court”
Judge: “You’ve shown contempt for the rule of law”
Bauer then interrupts judge.. referencing “dominion over the land”
