lwj is late to breakfast. lxc, concerned, goes to lwjs room to investigate & finds his didi sat motionless on the bed, on his lap is a tiny snoozing fox

“I have been chosen, brother.” He says, very seriously. “It is my duty.”

lxc is taken aback of course. He hadn’t known his little brother to ever be so serious about something as he was about this dribbling fox cub.

when he offers to take the fox onto his own lap lwj near on bites him

“Mine” he honks, because lwj has not yet learnt how to growl. “My a-ying.”

Lxc retracts his hands for fear of losing them

pharmacist jc has Seen Things, but could never have predicted The lwj, inquiring if they had any larger condoms than the XXXXL size.

jc cringes even later as he scrolls through his phone & sees his brother has posted “hanging out with lz tonight!! 😘”

Then he Realises.

He storms over to lwjs home, nearly breaking down the door.

“LAN WANGJI!!” He screams, “WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH MY BROTHER??”

There is a bang, then a muffled curse.

jc recognises his brothers voice, and his eyes narrow in suspicion. He is two seconds away from calling his sister for backup when the door opens.

Suo-er is technically supposed to be at home with their babysitter, but cy is coming home for the first time in nearly 2 months after he got called out on a mission, and suo-er wants to greet his a-die first

This would also be cute if chenwei haven’t met yet, and cy is a single dad who adopted suo-er from a bad family when he was very young, and raised him as his own son.

Gw is the local doctor who everyone has a crush on, cy included, and suo-er decides to play matchmaker

Dragonji is thousands of years old. He has lived a secluded life with his brother, content to spend his days meditating in their mountains. Until one day he finds a baby fox spirit.

Who uses his antlers as a teething toy

Dragonji, esteemed and dignified, the picture of composure in perfect robes, calmly continuing to practice his calligraphy whilst baby fox wwx noms on his antlers until they’re covered in spittle

“Do not bite more than you can chew.” He gently chides the small black fox, feeling a pang in his heart when wwx’s nine tails droop sadly.

However he drops the 2m stick in his mouth, so Lwj is happy.

Foxxian is only slightly bigger than a kitten at this age
