From Delhi sultanate time the invaders attacked on our temple and looted them and destroyed,
Does not matter it were mughals or Britishers or portuguese.
Why?
Because from Ancient time our temples are the center of Art and culture.
@Sanjay_Dixit
@ElvishYadav
@ReallySwara
So our temples were not only rich economically but also rich in power,wisdom and culture.
There are many temples in India which are still myth for the science or where science does not work.
Like Jagannath puri temple,
64 yogini temple,
The temple of banaras which is tilted 9.5°
So the invaders wanted to ruin our not only economically but also by culture and wisdom too.
Because our temples earning was very much high so to stop this mughals imposed jajiya tax on us because they were earning huge amount of tax from our temples.
From 1840-1923 as the colonial law was applied so not only hindu temples but mosques,Gurudwaras were also paying tax to britishers but in 1925 an act was passed by local govt of Madras and the act was known as Madras Hindu charitable and endowment act 1923
The objective of this act was to command and control the temples of India only "hindu temples"/ Hindu worship place only.
Till 1935 this act got 12 Amendments but our temples could not be free.
Anyway we got independence in 1947,It was a hope for our temples.
But not.
India after gaining independence from British rule had become a Republic on 26 January 1950, with its Constitution guaranteeing certain fundamental rights to its citizens. Special religious and administrative rights were guaranteed to Religious Denominations or sections thereof.
We got a reward of our freedom and we got a new act now just name was changed nothing else,
a new Hindu Religious Act was passed by the Madras Government, known as the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1951.
Which is known as HRCe Act 1951.
@ReallySwara Pay attention
Under this law any state can take control of Any hindu temple if it want and nobody can challenge govt on it.
Just think we are independent now from colonial law or still we are paying jajiya tax like we had given to mughals?
Lets see HRCe act and its violation of fundamental rights of Indian constitution.
Article 14 prohibits discrimination. It further prohibits an arbitrary, unreasonable Act on the part of the state. Equality and equal protection is available to all citizens of the country.
In Moseb Kaba Chowdhary & Anr. v. State of West Bengal, deals with Article 14 of the Constitution of India. The SC:
It is well established by the decisions of Supreme Court that Article 14 condemns discrimination not only by a substantive law but also by a law of procedure.
There are many examples
Like
M.P. Gopalakrishnan Nair and Anr. v. State of Kerala and Ors,
K. Mukundaraya Bhenoy v. The State of Mysore,
Kerala High Court in T. Krishnan v. G.D.M. Committee,
Ratilal v. State of Bombay
Shirur Mutt Case,
SC/HC advocated for Article 14.
HRCe is directly violation of Article 25 and 26 of indian constitution
Where 25 says for the guarantee of freedom of religious belief and autonomy of religious Institutions under article 26.
But HRCe is leagal in India hypcricy.
How much they earn from our temples.
Have an example of South temple
Sri Dhandayuthapani Swamy Temple, Palani, Tamil Nadu

All hundi collections are deposited in the designated temple bank account.Of this,14% goes as administration fees,4%as audit fees (Section 92),+
25-40% as salaries and 1-2% for prayers and other festival expenses. Between 4-10% of the total collections go to the ‘Commissioner Common Good Fund’ (Section 97). Further, money is transferred to various popular schemes run by the government like free meals and marriages.
This way, 65-70% of the temple income is used for non-temple or merely administrative purposes.
And acharyas getting salaries very little sometimes they also dont get it.
The bank account is in the name of the deity or the Devasthan. Since these temples are constituted under a State Act, their income is exempt from income tax under section 10 (23BBA) of the Income-Tax Act.
Above it is clear that how much money govt are earning from our temples.
Now leats have a look on this 👇
In 1985 Temples have 5.25 Lakh acre land and in 2020 it is 4.78 Lakh acre land.
And also DMK govt changed the name of HRCe to RCe but in this RCe only hindu temples.
Some key points what they have done with our temples.

1200 Sacred ancient idols stolen in 25 years

11,999 temples dying with no Pooja conducted at all

37,000 temples have just one person to handle all activities-pooja, maintenance, security etc.
34,000 temples struggling to survive with less than Rs. 10,000 income a year

look condition of this temple 👇
Marakkanam Saleeswarar :
Baburayanpettai
Veerasolapuram Ardanareeswarar
Our temples are for us not for making profits from them and using in different work for gaining votes.

@Sanjay_Dixit
When the war was declared, my personal sympathies were all with the Boers, but my loyalty to the British rule drove me to participation with the British in that war. I felt that, if I demanded rights as a British citizen, it was also my duty,

Akbar and hypocrite liberals.

History tells he was one the most barbaric mughal rulers how?
Lets have a look on this thread.

He had forcibly married Salima Sultana Begum, who was wife of his regent Bairam Khan. Bairam Khan was a fatherlike figure for him.

In 1556, After defeating Hemachandra Vikramaditya in 2nd battle of Panipat, He earned the title 'Ghazi' after beheading Hemachandra Vikramaditya.

The Mughals had built a tower of heads of slain soldiers in Second Battle of Panipat.

She is Pritilata Waddedar,
On the date of today 24 september 1932 when she was just 21, she decided to be martyr than to be caught by britishers,
How many of us know about her?
Not even 0.1% Population of India.
Lets know about her in this thread.
@Sanjay_Dixit
@RekhaSharma1511
She was born in 5 May 1911 in Chatgaon West bengal,
She was very much intelligent and that time she completed her graduation in first division,
Soon she got inspried from the revolutionary leader of bengal Surya kumar sen.
Do you know she got her degree after 80 year?
Reason behind it was because she usually go for a meating with Ramkrishna vishwas and he was later hanged by the britishers.
She became the member of Bachar sansthan which was loyal to britishers and thats why she was furious with this samsthan.
