As per PHIPA 18(1)(d) - for consent to be legal, it "must not be obtained through deception or coercion"
That consent therefore is NOT legal in Ontario!
Fully-vaccinated OR not - YOUR EMPLOYER broke the law - AND your rights were violated.
Since Ontario healthcare providers CANNOT have obtained consent legally (or did NOT obtain it at all) - they have also likely further violated the "Disclosure" sections of PHIPA - by using the information that they did not obtain legally.
As per the Directive #6 Resource Guide:
"In the event of any conflict between this document and any legislation, directive, or order, the legislation, directive, or order prevails."
ALL employees in each workplace where the EMPLOYER did NOT obtain your WRITTEN consent specifically for your disclosure of your CV-19 vaccination status - a clear violation of OHSA 63(2)...
If your employer DID obtain your WRITTEN consent to access your CV-19 vaccination status - a clear violation of PHIPA 18(1)(d) - ALL employees in each affected healthcare workplace MUST file complaints en masse ASAP to put an end to this madness.
In addition to the VERY steep fine/penalties PER incident (employee) - the employer can also be ordered to pay up to $10,000 in "Damages for Breach of Privacy' for EACH affected individual. [PHIPA 65(3)]
"Hospitalizations", "ICU Admissions", "Deaths", etc. are all just subsets of the total number of "cases" (aka "positive" test results) - and as such are subject to the same "case definition".

Their (and the government's) ENTIRE justification for vaccine mandates is that the unvaccinated pose a risk to the health & safety of others.
BC has now created a two-tiered society of "haves" & "have-nots" - where your inability to participate in normal activities in our society (weddings, business meetings, dining, church, etc.) is NOW a reality.
BC just removed medical exemptions - so if you have the definitive contradictions for the vaccine, developed myocarditis or GBS after the 1st shot, etc. - you MUST now be excluded from full participation in society - indefinitely!
