Trump’s Troth

If you head over to @KateScopelliti's profile, this is the image you’ll see. Why is that? For one thing, Kate believes (she's of course right) that Trump is the greatest president of our lifetimes, if not ever.
2) Kate is a loyal soul, faithful to her friends in every way. She gives credit where it's due and cares not a fig for the judgments of shallow souls. She takes her stand, and I assure you, woe be to you if you seek to unseat her in her considered stance.
3) But why this particular image? There are, it would seem, millions of images of Trump from which to select. Why this one? Kate doesn't answer such questions. I've learned to guess. Part of the reason is that Kate hates summer and loves winter.
4) Snow falling, large scarf covering his neck, million dollar coat protecting him from the cold, Trump is ready. He is ready for the weather. Trump's got a flashing, million dollar smile. Yet here he is, stern and resolved. Why so stern? What is he resolved for? Resolute. Why?
5) Did you know that Trump wrote four books on the topic of Making America Great Again? It was these four books that sealed my own conversion to his support. Now, look carefully at the cover of his 2015 title, Crippled America.
6) In Crippled America, Trump's first words are: "SOME READERS MAY BE wondering why the picture we used on the cover of this book is so angry and so mean looking...In this book we're talking about Crippled America. Unfortunately...
7) "Unfortunately, there's very little that's nice about it. So I wanted a picture where I wasn't happy, a picture that reflected the anger and unhappiness that I fell, rather than joy."

Who writes like that? What politician shares his anger and unhappiness? In a book?
8) Between us, I'm the book reader and @KateScopelliti is the researcher. She doesn't need to read books to come to her judgements. I do. I can't do the kind of research she does every day. I had to have Trump's books to become his supporter. Kate did not.
9) I'm pretty sure Kate has not read Crippled America, and did not know that Trump selected an almost identical facial expression for its cover as she selected for her Twitter profile. She knows a man's true visage when she sees it.
10) Kate accepts Trump's troth to America. She listens to his words and takes them for true. You can't get a better supporter, but Kate is no hero-worshiper. She demands truth. Unflinching. Resolute. Clear and unambiguous truth. Nothing less.
11) In spite of being Pasquale, I'll be Frank, okay, frank. If Kate didn't support Trump, I wouldn't either. Her mind and soul are the North Star of my life. Her judgments guide my own. I know I don't know what I think until I vet what I think I think with Kate.
12) Kate still supports Trump 100%. That’s an interesting thing. Kate knows that he won reelection by the largest landslide mandate in American history. Yet she also knows he turned over the keys to the White House on 20 January 2021. Now that’s a conundrum.
13) How exactly does the feistiest, scrappiest, angriest, most successful president ever simply turn over the keys after the largest landslide mandate reelection in American history? How does he surrender? Did he NOT break his troth?
14) As it's been my rule to let others - there are so many - criticize Trump, and my rule to be silent when opposed, and speak only in support, I haven't said much about Trump's advisors. I don't think too much of them. They were my first answer. I blamed them.
15) I've come to believe I was wrong about that. Trump is his own man. If he listens to bad advice, it is still his own listening ears that are doing the listening. He factors all his decisions against his own moral and historic compass. He is his own man. More than anyone else.
16) I have a theory. I have very little data upon which to found my theory. A nod here, a word there, a demeaner. That's about it. Little strands of floating data. Not much. Still, I have a theory. Here it is. Well, a few more points to emphasize first.
17) Patrick Henry won the debate over the Bill of Rights. James Maddison and team felt that, by directly prohibiting the Federal Government from enjoying any rights NOT enumerated, no Bill of Rights was needed. More, they feared that publishing such might be pernicious.
18) Maddison and team feared that, if you list the rights of the people, you will have LIMITED the rights of the people to those enumerated in your list. Their design LIMITED the rights of the Federal Government, and purposefully did NOT enumerate the rights of the people.
19) Patrick Henry understood this, but rightly, wisely, historically wisely disagreed. If you FAIL to enumerate the most fundamental rights of the people, the people will not know and not be able to protect their rights. Thus the first 10 amendments. Henry was right.
20) I blame @shestokas. He has not written a book about how the Bill of Rights were composed. So, I don't know how they came to be in the actual form they present within. I do know this. The 1st Amendment is the most important. The right of speech is the ultimate right.
21) Having been, for the vast majority of my adult life a vote skeptic, it was a major conversion for me to attain the following comprehension. The vote is the single most important expression of the right of speech, which is the most important of all our rights.
22) Imagine you were trying to destroy American democracy, American republicanism. If you were working to tear down the system of our freedom, what would be your most important target? The answer is free speech, and most especially, the vote.
23) Donald Trump is a media man. He ferreted out the rules of the media back in the 1970s. He has lived out his entire life in the media spotlight. He took reality TV to places it would never have gone with The Apprentice. He is today's greatest media master.
24) So here's my theory. The vote is not the vote. We thought it was, but we were wrong. The vote is what the media tells us the vote was. We political junkies stay up all night the night of the election doing what? We watch TV. We listen to TV reports on...the vote.
25) Consider Malcolm X on point. What the 10th Malcolm could NOT have imagined goes vastly beyond such mere things as innocence and guilt. He could not have imagined that the vote itself is merely what the media tells us it is, having nothing to do with the actual count.
26) The media is not merely the media. It has to be validated. The media is of course also the Democrat and Republican Parties. Have I mentioned the vile, resentment, hate, and venom I feel for the Republican Party? And here I am having recently joined. I did.
27) When did I join the Party? It was after 3 November 2020, when Trump made it clear there would be no 3rd Party for him. I wanted a new Party. I detest and revile the Republican Party. This must be parsed. Why doesn't Trump hate the Republican Party? He should. Maybe he does.
28) A political party breaks out, we can now know, into two parts: The People & The Leadership. I don't hate the people of the Republican Party, I love them. It is the leadership of the Republican Party that I so detest. And even then, I still have to respect them, anyway.
29) Fact is, I love the people of both parties. I detest the leadership of both parties. Part of my theory is that Trump agrees with me on both points. Well, he doesn't agree with me, I agree with him, but maybe you get the idea. He loves the people.
30) Our Judiciary. Corrupt. How so? It's actually quite simple. John Roberts allowed Antonin Scalia to be buried without an autopsy. Scalia was assassinated. An autopsy would have established that fact. No autopsy. Corruption.
31) Obamacare wasn't a tax...until it was one. Corruption. Trump's 3 conservative picks? Not a one of them had anything to say about the theft of Election 2020. Corruption. It's good to be a SCOTUS Justice. Corruption.
32) My little theory has to call for these parts:

1) MSM
2) The Democrat Party
3) The Republican Party
4) Corrupt Judiciary
5) Corrupt State Legislatures + Election Apparatus
33) Let's be clear. We have to use the word "CONSPIRACY." If, as I believe to be the case, all five of those elements coordinated together to steal the greatest landslide mandate reelection in American history, then that would be the mother of all conspiracies. I say it was.
34) When Trump first appeared on the scene, riding down the escalator holding his lovely wife's hand, I was, unwittingly, and idealistic libertarian. I knew I was a libertarian. Bastiat was my prophet. I did not yet realize that I was an idealist. Alas.
35) As a libertarian idealist, I was 100% anti-taxation. For me, tax was theft. I wanted society to organize all its projects by subscription, by the free will of civic minded souls. There's a history there, but we have no time for it. Why not? It's not realistic, today.
36) Trump wanted to LOWER taxes. He did NOT want to wipe them out. I had to hand in my libertarian, my 100% anti-tax libertarianism, in order to support Trump. I had to convert. I had to be a realist, as directly opposed to being an idealist. I can't tell you how much that hurt.
37) I did most of the analysis before 20 January 2021. That is, by 20 January, I already knew Trump would hand over the keys to the White House. I was basically ready for it, if heart broken in the extreme. The vote is not the vote. The count itself does not matter.
38) Realism indicates this. It is NOT the count of the vote that counts. It is the PERCEPTION of the count that matters. Truth does not matter. The perception of truth matters. At least in politics. At least in a democracy, a republic. The people must believe.
39) If you pull together the MSM, the Democrat Party, the Republican Party, a corrupt Judiciary and State Legislatures...you win. The count of the vote does not count. Only those five factors count. Winning does not mean winning. It means those five factors accord victory.
40) In the world of pragmatic realism we don't live by shoulds, or should bes. We live by is, what actually is. In this world, and in spite of the actual vote count, Trump lost. That is what he accepted. He lost. Not by the vote count. It was the greatest, most massive landslide.
41) As a lame duck president, Trump could NOT be the man whining, again and again, ‘I really won. I did. I did win. No, you don't believe me but you're wrong. I won. I did.’ Do you see? He could NOT have his presidency clouded from day 1 with the question of the vote.
42) If you join me in my new realism, we must face that an actual count of the vote no longer represents our most basic freedom. Rather, it is the media's count of the vote, and the Democrat and Republican Parties, and the Judiciary's and State Legislatures' counts that count.
43) And that's why Trump turned over the keys. The forces purloining the vote succeeded. There's no point pretending that success is not success. They won. An adequate percentage of the American public accept Joe Biden as POTUS. That is winning.
44) In the near future, we'll discuss what their victory is winning them. You can know now, it will NOT, it IS not winning them what they want. Such corrupt victories never give the temporary victor what he wants. Never.
45) For now, know this. Trump has kept his troth. He won't pretend to be our President in the face of the Swamp's evil power. His mission is to defeat the Swamp. He will. He will if we will keep troth with him. I will. Kate will. Will you? I know you will.

The Great Façade

@KateScopelliti recently posted this image. I've been thinking about it ever since. How we got here is no mystery, but its dynamics are important. We are at a decision moment.
2) We know that a massive landslide reelection occurred. We know that the candidate who lost is in the Oval Office. Everyone acts like this is reality. And, as most will maintain, since perception is reality, it's real. I couldn't disagree more strongly.
3) That Job Biden is POTUS is no different than saying the sky is green, not blue. It is just a facade. It is the image of falsehood as if it were true. I'll never forget, there we were watching the returns come in and FOX News gave Biden Arizona. That was the end for us.

The last time Frank and I met was for a brief conversation at the San Jose International Airport. He'd called to let me know he was coming and to meet him there. As he had my last payment for the Jaguar, he obviously knew I'd show up.
2) "Look, kid, I've done a few deals like this in my life, where I cared as much about the other guy as I did for myself, and I always regretted it. I'll beat myself up for this later, but this time, I know I won't regret helping you out. Here's your check.
3) "You're a bright person, and I'm sure you already know I see a lot of myself in you, too much, actually. I could, and should, have had your car at half the price I'm paying you for it. That's my weakness. I thought I was over it, and maybe this is the last time. Ha!

Hello Patriots, there's a new voice rising. If you haven't followed @KateScopelliti yet, what a treat you're in for! Her daily Quote Retweets, in which she hits us with pithy, hard-hitting, flat out truth, so very well written. I'll tell you just a bit more about her...
2) #FollowKate - Ever since we met, and she allowed me to steal her heart in 1981, she's been guiding me to the truth. She's the most unflinching, uncompromising left & truth analyst I've ever known, bar none. Out of infinite debates and squabbles, I might have almost won 1 or 2.
3) #FollowKate - It's more than just warrior fierce truth hunt. @KateScopelliti finds every subtle nuance that opens up the bigger picture. Kate is a natural born artist, and it shows up in everything she does. Perhaps, though, nowhere more so than in her editing and writing.

Geopolitics

As stated before, America is as much a geopolitical creation as it is a nation of freedom for individuals and Constitutional limits on the power of government. What a gamble our founding fathers took.
2) They bet their fortunes, sacred honor, and their very lives on the hope that 13 colonies might all separate from the parent nation and forge together a union that could stave off all attack from the forces gathered against it, globally.
3) Something we forget is that the people who lived here before us were NATIONS. No, they didn't have the same structure we think of in modern terms as defining a nation. But, they were fierce, mighty, skilled at war, and brilliant at alliance building for military victory.

Today, we’ll finish up on lessons 4 – 6:

1) Entertain and Inform
2) Risk/Reward
3) Limit but SELL the Risk
4) Qualify
5) Always Show Up
6) Work Your Numbers
2) I imagine you know the word "holistic," and also that it's related to seeing things as a whole, not just as a clump of parts. But I also bet you don't know the power of that in selling. I certainly didn't, when I get started and overcame the other hurdles at ITG.
3) Our investors really were that, investors. They all had portfolios and earned interest on their investments. Something that amazed me was that in all the hundreds and hundreds of prospects I spoke with, not one had any idea what their rate of return was on the whole.

Having overcome the demons of rudeness by becoming a Courtesy Cop, what were the sales lessons I learned at ITG? Too many to list accurately, I'll identify the smallest number of key lessons.
2) Key Lessons Learned At ITG. Here are just six, but no promises I might not find more...

1) Entertain and Inform
2) Risk/Reward
3) Limit but SELL the Risk
4) Qualify
5) Always Show Up
6) Work Your Numbers
3) What is a commodity? Oil? Gold? Coffee? Corn? Pork bellies (which bacon comes from)? Oh by all means yes, and so many more. A commodity is so much more. It is a contract placed upon future production. That's a Future. It is so much more. What is an option? It is derivative.
