It shocked you...didn’t it?

Yesterday the entire social media world (except Twitter and Telegram) froze for more than 4-hours and it felt like rapture.

Everyone was on their toes...

Influencers lost their jobs for those few hours...

Businesses were in panic mode...

In fact,
Uncle Mark lost about 7billion dollars within those few hours

From my end, I wasn’t worried at all because I have a growing list...but on the flip side, I'm amazed at the power one man wields.

Imagine if mark decides to shut down his platforms and go on a year-long exile?
What will happen?

A lot of us—including me—will lose our minds, because Facebook, WhatsApp, and IG are our stress relievers and also money-generators.

This is also a valid reason why you should create a safe haven for yourself outside social media platforms.

If you have...
clients or customers, don’t just have their social media handles…

Gather their phone numbers and email addresses

Because at this point, anything is possible

The next shutdown could be 24hrs or 7days long.

We can not tell.

So, gather assets that you can have good control of.
This space belongs to Mark “Mark Nsukka-bag" and his employees.

You get the point right?

Good.

There are loads of copywriting rules, hacks and tricks out here...

But one rule reigns supreme.

"Write As You Talk!!!"

I really don't know why but I feel a lot of people don't know what this means...

But I'll explain.

You see...

When you're having a conversation with your
Best friend, the words and tone of voice comes naturally

And it sounds as smooth as butter.

(Nobody sounds like a lawyer—defending a murder convict—when talking to a friend)

And that's how you should write.

But there's another side to this...

You know,

The way you chat with
A nigerian friend isn't the same way you'd talk to your new American friend.

Because, they have very different cultures and nuances and their choice of phrases are very different.

Now, if you intend having a reasonable conversation with your American buddy, you have talk like

‘‘Enter the conversation already taking place in the customer’s mind’’.

Your audience has beliefs. They have nuances that they hold on to.

There's no point trying to create new ones where they don't exist.

All you go to do is tap into the existing ones and
drill the hell out of it.

Sometime ago, i was writing a copy project for domestically abused women...

All i had to do is read blog post, read book summaries, read forum comments etc...

And i discovered a lot of things that normally seemed unusual.

I discovered their common👇🏿
enemy...

Their desire...

Their current state of mind...

And the tone of voice to use for them.

And the result was nothing short of outstanding.

You don't need to stress it.

Enter the conversation were they are.

This applies to everything in selling not just copywriting.

Did you know that Apple started as a side hustle?

Here's a thread of 3 multimillion dollar companies that started as side hustles…

👇🏿
1. Apple

Steve Jobs was working the nightshift in Atari while Steve Wozniak was working as an engineer at HP.

In their spare time, the buddies would work on building computers in a car garage. This later gave birth to what we call Apple I.
2. Instagram

In 2009, Kevin Systrom was working as product manager at NextStop but during the nights and weekends, he'd work on his lil project.

That project gave us Instagram.

When it comes to the issue of selling...

Humans are not as difficult as we make them look.

Yeah they aren't.

You just have to discover what they want.

How?

First, you need to understand that we are all want same thing...

Black, white, mixed etc.. we all want the same👇🏿
Things.

And to discover what people want, ask yourself one question:

"What do I want?"

More money...

Good life...

Healthy relationship...

Freedom...

Respect... etc.

If you want these things, then it means that someone in kafanchan or Netherlands or Russia, also wants same
things.

So to get their money, create product and services that satisfy these wants.

Capisce? 👐🏿

If you belong to the group of people who want more money, then you might want to join my list.

I'll be sharing some side hustle ideas with my people from next week.

How To Buy Money For Free In Nigeria 2021

(From Broke to Abundance In 6 Simple Steps)

A thread...
1.  Reset your mindset

It doesn't matter how many books you read or courses you buy, the first step to financial freedom is knowing you deserve to be rich.

You’re Nigerian not an outcast.

Believe that you deserve better.
2.  Attract money. Don't try to ‘make’ it

No one has ever made money from thin air except Nigerian politicians—which I believe you aren’t.

If you have any intention of making money, you must attract it by giving out value.

I remember when I was so desperate to make my own money.

The first idea that came to mind was to sell wristwatches in corporate offices.

I waka ehh, my shoe almost bent to the left plus I had to deal with disgusting human beings everyday.

The business died within 14 days, then
I moved on to designing bespoke men's ties

But...

There was an 800 pound gorilla(big competitor) in the environment already.

The business didn't take flight even though I had invested my savings.

Meanwhile, I had no idea that one could actually sit in his home and churn out
millions of naira on a monthly basis.

I thought entrepreneurship was only about buying stuff and selling it to someone.

And thats the major problem with a lot folks.

You see...

The world has evolved and the internet had made life much easier.

You can spend just 2hrs doing
