The number of people would join a union rose from 1/3 to nearly 1/2 in the last decade - the actual decline in unionization is a direct result of corporate opposition - the PRO Act can clean up a lot of these unfair labor practices - @hshierholz#NN21
We have to have labor laws that work for people in traditional trades AND for the jobs coming in the modern economy. The work forces of the future need the same protections. President of the Alaska AFL-CIO @abnmama
'Right To Work' states have passed laws with sole intent to make it more difficult to organize and make it harder for cities to have union friendly policies - we need the PRO Act to ensure everyone can make a living and thrive - Tucson Mayor @TucsonRomero#NN21
"My grandfather always encouraged me to get a union job - I was so proud to tell him my first job was union." President of UNITEHere Local 2850 Yulisa Elenes
Captive audience meetings and intimidation tactics (including messaging in the bathroom stalls and one on one meetings with managers) are being used to intimidate workers and quash organizing efforts. Under the PROAct - this would be considered illegal.

We have a 6/3 far right hyper-partisan super majority. It is hostile to democracy itself. Policies that are enormously popular across the spectrum are at risk of not being in the #BuildBackBetter Act because of corporate power. -- @MondaireJones#NN21
"I was stunned but I wasn't surprised" - @TinaSmithMN on the Texas ban. She has supported #ExpandTheCourt for years. The Federalist Society has had a multi-generational plan to take over our courts. "We have to get to 13 members to restore balance." We must #TakeBackTheCourt
