... that's not gone well... maybe this guy likes him better?...
oh dear... Well let's bring in @NickFerrariLBC, he's a mate... he'll have their back!...
well Nick wasn't such a good wingman after all... why is that?...
It's time to drop the B-Bomb!...
But it wasn't all bad... here @lisanandy gives newly appointed Education Minister @nadhimzahawi some brief respite with something that was almost a compliment!...
Yes there is nothing more complimentary than hearing you are not quite as rubbish as your predecessor...
Folks this is a circus, and as @Keir_Starmer, @UKLabour , @EdwardJDavey and his once famously pro European @LibDems have abandoned hope of EU re-entry one thing is clear...
The only credible Pro-EU vote...
Anywhere in the UK...
Is now a Pro Scottish Independence Vote...
And they can ONLY be cast in Scotland...
If you are anywhere else in the UK...
And want to live in a Pro-European, Progressive Country...
Then you already know what to do...
You need to move to Scotland...
You need to register to vote as soon as you get here...
Then you need to...
The first Indyref was a period of hope and astounding levels of political engagement, and obviously the following day crushing disappointment. Yesterday was the 7th anniversary of the referendum, many Independence Campaigners took part in the @believeinscot day of Action…
Many Politicians on both sides of the debate commented to mark the Anniversary, those on the Indy side led by @NicolaSturgeon generally lamented the loss, but vowed to keep the hope alive…
As you can imagine certain members of the @ScotTories Branch Office approached this anniversary with their customary lack of grace. None more so that agitator in Chief Murdo Fraser MSP with this typical (and totally lacking in self-awareness) contribution….
Now Douglas is quite rightly concerned about Post Office branches closing, lack of access to cash etc.
And he quite rightly drew attention to it by raising it in Parliament and posing for a wee photo outside a local post office with a concerned look slapped all over his coupon.
But Douglas Lumsden would have done well to do a bit of research first…
Banking regulation, which led to the closure of bank branches in the first place is of course a reserved matter where he’d be better raising this with the UK Gov’t.
It’s been a struggle to find a Brexit Benefit, we were promised loads of them but they have thus far failed to materialise.
That is until today, as some of you may be aware before we became integrated with Europe we used to have the “Imperial System” for weights and measures.
Now from my standpoint the Imperial System was a bit confusing…
Money was counted in multiples of 6 and 12
Weight was counted in multiples of 7 and 14
Length was counted in multiples of 8 and 16
But when we integrated with Europe we (almost) adopted the Metric system. Now it doesn’t matter what you are counting, weighing or measuring using the Metric system it was all done in multiples of 10.
Many people who voted for Brexit in 2016 and who voted Tory in 2019 did so from a desire to "Take Back Control" of our Laws, our Money and our Borders!... 1/10
If you did vote that way, with…Northern Ireland kicking off again? Restaurants and Shops experiencing shortages? Livestock being killed but not slaughtered as they have gone unsold? Is this what you had in mind?... 2/10
Did you want to "Take Back Control" of our Laws so that Boris and Co. could suppress democracy by illegally proroguing Parliament, or with their Voter ID plans?... 3/10
Who, doesn't enjoy a Cheeky Nandos? those Peri Peri Salted Fries and nice spicy Chicken, what's not to like?
Well it seems that things are a bit tough for Nando's at the moment...
Restaurants all over England, Scotland and Wales are suffering shortages of supplies and they have had to close about 50 premises.
Prompting this tweet from Nando's HQ...
But hang on, if Twitter has limited characters why didn't Nando's just type "UK" instead?
Well that's because there is one area of the UK not suffering from a lack of reasonably priced spicy chicken and fries. Northern Ireland is still has easily accessible Cheeky Nando's...
One could be forgiven for thinking this Photograph is one of Boris Johnson, taking a moment out of his busy day running the UK and being updated on global events, for a Poignant moment of reflection on the senseless Incel killings in Plymouth last week....
One could be doubly forgiven for thinking that was the case if you saw this image in this tweet from the UK Prime Ministers Official Twitter account...
But as is usual with @BorisJohnson this photo may not be entirely.... well... honest...
Take a closer look at the clock on the wall and you'll see that the clock duly says it's 11am, and if you're observing a moment of silence that's when it is done....
