1. Choosing to code at the very beginning without understanding and breaking down the problem to find a solution.
It's always been helpful to sketch the problem & solution with pen and paper before attempting to code directly.

2. Learning loop
I intend to know the indepth knowledge about a topic and jump from one resource to another. Working hand on rather than just watching tutorials has proven to be helpful.

3. Not applying for jobs that I think isn't intended for me.
Looking at the requirements section in each job profile, we intend not to apply because we don't meet all the requirements listed. But maybe leave this job to the recruiter and just apply if you've an interest?

It's very important to have a portfolio before applying to jobs. The projects listed can be maintained using GitHub.

This is extremely important. I use to code for a month and completely rest for the next month. This certainly isn't a good course of action and to be progressive, you've to learn and work daily.
