1. I hope it is now clear, that there is no political violence that happens in Zimbabwe without the full consent and support of seemingly innocent members of society. From Gukurahundi,1999, 2000,2002,2008 etc, there are people who support such brutal acts.
2. They come in 2 forms,a group that blames the victims for being stupid and not knowing that Zanu-PF is violent, and another group that places 100% approval on the very acts of violence. Our communities are violent and many rejoice when the opposition is attacked.
3. This is exactly why Gukurahundi succeeded, SOME community members in other parts of the country at that time felt that the killing of unarmed citizens was justified. Unless we stop this behavior, it will consume us & when it is our turn to cry no one will be there.
4. Remember that Zanu-PF is an equal opportunity abuser, the same things you are saying the MDC should have known will visit you too. Remember Sylvia Maphosa, who whilst closing her shop was shot in the back by soldiers.
5. To make matters worse they even tried to have the cause of death changed from gunshot wound to stab wound. Her only crime was being a ZImbabwean. As long you are Zimbabwean you are in danger from Zanu-PF. Stop blaming victims, you're all in the waiting room.

1. Zanu-PF is an equal opportunity abuser.
In 2019 January, when soldiers went on a rampage raping community members, there was a murakashi here on Twitter who got his sister raped 💔. The young man started looking for a gun to shoot someone 💔💔
2. Joyce Mujuru was at the Zenith of her powers when she was elected VP, she was a powerful politician within Zanu PF, with a storied liberation history she had all the credentials. But when she fell on one faction, she became public enemy and was abused and booted out.
3. Savior Kasukuwere was notoriously violent and murderous with eye witnesses placing him at scenes where people were killed and he l
earned himself the name Paraquat, because he loved to pour the pesticide on opposition member's wounds to delay and impede healing.

1. You will try to move heaven and earth to pay your children's school fees in South Africa from Zimbabwe. The Perm Sec or Boss Tagwi will just do it direct 😂. And you think you live in the same version of Zimbabwe that he does, no, they live in the Premium Subscription version.
2. Where you can get 3Bln and refuse to attend any parliamentary portfolio committee to explain how you used each dollar. Enough money to build and run new top notch hospitals for at least 20yrs! When you show up, you just say we didn't get 3Bln and walk away case closed!
3. We want one Zimbabwe, equal for all and to all. 2009 your account was FCA, 2016 it was FCA with both USD and Bond, 2018 it became Zim dollar but for those in the Premium Subscription version of Zimbabwe their accounts remained the same, in USD.

1. Only that I'm very busy these days preparing for a manuscript submission, but I think this Preprint has a great need to be analysed and its findings put in the bigger context. @TChivese

2. As usual, the media hypes one specific narrative despite the authors themselves advocating for more work to avoid skew and bias. I suggest we hold a Space more like a Journal Club discussion. People get 1 week to read the paper contact authors if they want then we discuss.
3. This is purely an academic exercise, to really get into the intestines of the paper and ask the hard questions and interrogate everything.
@TinofaMutevedzi @SibandaSibbs @TChivese @mdimairo @llgonde what say ye? Everyone is welcome to attend with questions or additions.

1. "Zimbabwe’s aviation system had, since 2010, operated without a surveillance system, the air traffic controllers told the CAAZ board."

2. "Investigations also established that the South African aviation authority has, at times, picked potential collisions in Zimbabwean air space and alerted local ATCs."

1. "THE 2013 elections in Zimbabwe were rigged!!!
Some might choose to call it election
engineering.
2. Until a few weeks ago, I had also
begun to mistakenly believe that indeed Zanu
PF had won the last election fair and square,
until I started scratching the surface, combing
through 2013 election results as posted on the
ZEC website, looking for the needle in the
haystack
3. Seek and ye shall find! I slowly began
finding anomaly after anomaly. And the more I
pulled at the strings, the more the mystery
unravelled. I am going to apologise in advance
for the length of this article, but there is a lot of
information I have to disseminate to the public

1. Contrary to what other people are saying, I think the expressions of frustration and impatience are not to be silenced but harnessed. ZImbabweans for too long have been ok with just doing their own thing but there is an awakening that our only problem in Zim is ZanuPF.
2. I urge people to be calm and not to rush to dismiss each other but in fact find each other. There is a part we have to play as citizens, we have to form groups, think tanks and action plans. There are many opportunities on what to do outside a political party.
3. We can have community groups, organize them. Non-violence is the key. But strategic thinking is required. Unless we reach a critical mass of people who really want change we will keep outsourcing to others.
