1. Ever since the release of my book #IndiaThatisBharat and its positive reception,a few handles have increased their direct & sly attacks on me, which I think is a back-handed compliment. Their latest tirade rides on the back of my tweets from 2015 on the subject of caste.
2.Apparently I am supposed to b embarrassed that my views on caste have evolved. That my views evolved significantly after I took up d Sabarimala case is something I have myself stated at least on 2 occasions, once in a discussion wid @UnSubtleDesi & again in my recent CH session.
3. Here's d link to my discussion wid @UnSubtleDesi & @pratyasharath held last year during d lockdown where d specific subject was the tug of war between the so-called "trads" & "Raytas". To the trawlers,at 15.33,I specifically discuss my tweets of 2015 -
4. Here's d link to my recent Clubhouse debut where @csranga Garu & I spoke on d subject of a Deity-centric Temple movement. To the trawlers again, at 24.22, again I myself discussed my tweets of 2015 to highlight my own evolution on the subject of caste -
5. Last night I specifically requested these twitter handles to take all the screenshots they wanted to of my tweets of 2015 so that they could use them in their group therapy sessions for the jobless and the anonymous :-) I then deleted the tweets of 2015, well, because WDTT.
6. Now coming to what appears to be the agenda of these handles - perhaps they think they can bully me into changing my position using labels and ad hominem attacks. Well, not happening. I have handled vicious attacks from the Left for years now. Tum kis khet ki mooli ho? :-)
7. The problem with this group is its inability to engage in any reasonable, civil and sane discussion on contentious and important issues within the non-Left. From sly tweeting to labelling, they resort to everything to draw your attention except a civilised engagement.
8. Fortunately, I have a life outside of Twitter and I have usually used social media as a one-way broadcast medium to air my views or share my writings or to identify people to collaborate with on areas of common civilizational interest. I genuinely pity those who live on SM.
9. Again fortunately, those who matter are aware of my positions as well as what I bring to the table. They understand that my views on specific issues may evolve, but my allegiance is to the Indic cause and I see organisations only as necessary conduits or madhyam for the cause,
10. So to the trawlers, pls feel free to push ur respective agendas. However, here's d thing - I have captured my thoughts & my own decolonial evolution through a book & have consciously subjected them to d scrutiny of d larger public. If u can,if at all u can,pls try do d same :-)
11. I have never laboured under d illusion that my views matter to anyone & I have aired them regardless of the repercussions. But thank you for telling me that my tweets of *2015* trigger you even now at unearthly hours when you could b spending time wid ur family. Priorities :-p
12. As always,I will continue doing my work & try as U may,U will not b able to discourage me one bit:-)Since my 1st book has given u such sleepless nights & barely concealed fits of insecurity/jealousy,wait for d 2nd one :-) The 1st book was d trailer, picture abhi baaki hai :-)
13. If there is one thing that I apply constantly to my work, it is this- "Charaiveti Charaiveti" and by the Grace of the Gods, that will not change come hell or highwater :-) So do your worst, I will stand my ground :-) Jai Shri Ram and Hara Hara Mahadeva. Over and out.

Took part in a Twitter spaces discussion on State Control of Temples a short while ago.Every time someone from d Left participates in a discussion on this topic,I am absolutely amazed at their factual ignorance & their desperate attempts to couch it in vague inanities. Terrible.
All they resort to are the same old done to death tropes about caste and demonising community stakeholdership without an iota of knowledge of the legal framework as it stands or the Constitutional position or the visible degradation of the Temple ecosystem under State control.
When confronted with facts, "Arre what's the point of discussing minutiae!", chalo let's discuss the legal framework "Arre too technical!", OK how about the Constitution "arre this issue goes beyond the Constitution!". Lol. Had it not been a serious issue this was funny as hell.
When the plight of Bengali Hindus doesn't get a fraction of the traction in Bharat than that of Afghan Muslims, well, you know where you stand as a community. Nowhere.
Here's a fact for those asking us to not look at d situation in Afghanistan thru a communal lens- Existing Afghan refugees in Bharat did not speak up (& still haven't spoken up) for d plight of Hindu & Sikh Afghans until their brethren from the Ummah were targeted by the Taliban.
Clearly, notwithstanding d vague platitudes about universal brotherhood, wen d chips r down ur community is ur first & foremost safety net. It's time Dharmic communities understood & drilled this deep in their heads.Learn frm d experience of Pak,Afghan/Bangladeshi Hindus & Sikhs.
Bharat is not a Dharamshala. The priority must be to save Indic communities. It has to & must look out for itself first. It can't endanger its already precarious demographic balance to please the gallery & win empty humanitarian accolades. It can provide material aid & that's all.
Here's is an interesting exchange from Shri Chandraprakash Dwivedi's Chanakya on accommodating refugees citing "athithi devo bhava" because the problem is they won't be merely athithis for long -
Americans & Pakistanis have created this mess in Afghanistan. It is for them to clean it up,not Bharat.Demographic inversion is already a reality in several parts of Bharat & the Indian State shudnt worsen this situation. Only Indic communities are an exception to this position.
For those missed it, here's d link to d YouTube of last evening's launch of my book #IndiaThatisBharat:Coloniality,Civilisation,Constitution. The launch was followed by a panel discussion comprising Dr. Gautam Sen,Dr. Prakash A Shah, @ARanganathan72 and me.
