The motion detection is an app that works with your phone.
You turn the app on, place the phone on or near the wall. The meter will start to rise (sound will get louder) as you get closer to the person spying on you.
Now, tvs, microwaves, can interfere..

But, it's very simple. You literally place the phone on the door, wall, wherever.
The camera usually needs another smart phone (even an old, unused one). With Alfred, you can be at the store and if something moves in your house -- it'll send you a motion alerts with live recording.
