We examined heart function and blood pressure in women four years after they had preeclampsia. What did we find? We found that about 50% of women with preeclampsia developed high blood pressure WITHIN FOUR years! #ph260720#hypertension
We also discovered that while women with preeclampsia had some abnormal heart functioning at diagnosis, this resolved when we followed up with them four years later. That’s good news! #ph260720#hearthealth#maternalhealth
