HD Video: Today @XRebelDC held a demonstration in front of the Chamber of Commerce in Washington DC in which they sprayed "oil" on the steps of the building and released colorful smoke bombs to expose what they say are "fake solutions" from the chamber.
"Fuck you @Enbridge! DC hates you! Fuck you @enbridgegas! The whole world hates you!" sang an @XRebelDC environmentalist rocking out on an electric guitar outside the Chamber of Congress.
"Save the Amazon! Save this planet we're on! Save Australia!"
The four activists who climbed up to the windows of the Chamber of Commerce were detained by MPD when they got down, but all four were released without charges after a warrant check.
"Our Earth is in trouble, big trouble, and these guys are part of the cause of it."
Here is my full @N2Sreports video of the @XRebelDC demonstration this afternoon outside the Chamber of Commerce here in Washington DC.
As always, all footage is available to license.

Today at the Capitol, as police arrested enviro demonstrators refusing to leave an intersection, an officer put an arrest wristband on credentialed video-journalist @KarlaCotePhoto and arrested her as they would a protester.
Other press - like myself - were not treated this way.
Like most of the activists, arrested journalist @KarlaCotePhoto was let go by USCP with a citation on site, with an order to appear and pay a fine tomorrow.
She was wearing 2 press passes (NYPD and @NPPA) and carried two cameras when arrested.
Four minutes *after* arresting journalist @KarlaCotePhoto, @CapitolPolice warned that they would consider press to be part of the protest and arrest them if they didn't leave the activist-occupied intersection.
Here’s a current view of the Chamber of Commerce in Washington DC, where environmental activists with @XRebelDC made quite the mess to signify the chamber’s “false solutions” on climate.
Four banner-hangers remain in the second floor windowsills.

VIDEO THREAD: Today supporters and family of Ashli Babbitt including her parents and husband held a "Texas Loves Ashli Babbitt" rally at a country club in Freeport, Texas, where they celebrated what would have been her 36th birthday and condemned her January 6 shooting death.
Former President Trump spoke at the Ashli Babbitt birthday commemoration via pre-recorded video: "Her memory will live on in our hearts for all time."
"There was no reason Ashli should have lost her life that day. We must all demand justice for Ashli and her family," Trump said.
"She went to Washington to help us see the light, like the millions that also heard the call" sang 'Texas Loves Ashli Babbit' organizer Al Manica.
"But the Democrats that took our love away, you know they shot her, they shot her down. Pelosi. Schumer. Harris. Buh buh buh Biden."
Tonight activists with @Peoples_Watch_ were joined by progressive members of congress outside the U.S. Capitol calling for the $3.5 trillion spending bill (social safety net and climate) to pass along with infrastructure.
Congressman @RepBowman: "this is obviously a pivotal moment in our country's history."
He says effort is to do right by "centering equity, by centering racial justice, by centering women's rights, and women's empowerment, and taking care of our seniors and most vulnerable."
More vid from yesterday: Man with a raccoon hat (which he wanted to be very clear is different than Viking attire or felt) showed up at the "Justice for J6" event and was confronted by counter-protester and press.
"I have little respect for Trump anymore, he's a coward" he said.
The raccoon-hat-man denied that any police had been assaulted on January 6 by Trump supporters.
@JonFarinaPhoto - who filmed this for @N2Sreports - had someone pull up his footage of a cop being crushed on J6 in a doorway by the crowd.
Man says "that's not assault."
Here is the full conversation @JonFarinaPhoto filmed for @N2Sreports of a man in a raccoon hat being confronted yesterday.
A limited version of this same conversation ultimately aired on CNN as well.
