I give NeverTrump talking heads a lot of grief because of their treatment of President Trump and the Republican base.
But to be fair to them, they had some very legitimate points against Trump.
No, he did not have the temperament to president. He’s quick to anger and mockery. He’s reactionary to any slight or insult. He’s braggadocios, arrogant, and narcissistic.
He has no issue lying or threatening to get his way.
He was a lifelong NY Democrat who didn’t hold conservative values until he started running as a Republican.
Any media story that didn’t reflect upon him well was dismissed as “fake news” and he used people’s anger as a weapon against his opponents.
There were times he trampled norms and customs. There were times he showboated when he should have been humble.
He hated any news cycle that didn’t involve him and would purposefully say or tweet things unnecessarily to stir up more chaos.
He could come across as cruel, cold, and callous. And honestly, he golfed too much.
In many aspects, he was no different than Obama. Obama is arrogant and narcissistic. He’d lie and threaten. He mocked. He went after “fake news”. He openly trampled norms and customs.
And I’m not even gonna mention Biden here because we can all see it with our own eyes.
BUT the things that Trump did very right was speak to the plight of the average American.
No, he wasn’t one of us, but he certainly talked and acted like he understood that energy independence was important, that jobs were important, and that you keeping more of your money was important.
Yes, he called the media fake news, but in his defense, they lied about that dude a LOT.
And very few times did NeverTrump ever stop and say “Wait, let’s see evidence about this.” Nope, unnamed sources were good enough for them.
“This is outrageous! This man is unfit! This is an attack on democracy!” they’d scream. And when it would finally be revealed as a hoax, lie, or whole-cloth fabrication (“suckers and losers”, anyone?), they’d shrug it off with “well, it was believable about him.”
Most things “believable” about Trump were because all the previous lies and mistruths had gone unchecked.
Don’t get me wrong. Trump absolutely would say and do dumb stuff. Trump absolutely would step in it. Multiple times as he was WINNING, dude would tweet something stupid.
But if he was that bad, why you gotta lie about him?
"He won't denounce White Supremacy?"
Uh...he did. 17 times.
How many times did Biden denounced Antifa? Once?
So yeah, NeverTrump was very wrong about him in a lot of ways, and they owe him a lot of apologies.
But they were right about him in a lot of ways too.
But then they were wrong about Biden in the same ways just opposite.
"I know when I vote for Biden, I'm voting for decency."
LOL
Good luck with that.

Loudoun County proves that the War on Women is over and Trans have won.
Seriously, if your take is "Fox made this news which made parents mad which caused threats which made the FBI go after them then Fox complained and it's all Fox's fault",
your take is trash.
I remember when a woman with no proof, no memory, no dates, and no story was held up as a paragon of evidence and #MeToo raged.
I wonder what the Venn diagram is of NeverTrump and "you're an idiot if you don't get the vaccine" would look like.
I don't know that it's a circle, but I'd think it would be close.
They're the same people that swallowed the "suckers and losers" bit hook, line, and sinker without ever questioning it.
They have a history of questioning the reasons why someone says something, never taking it at face value.
Just a moment ago, I saw a comment about Kyrie.
"He's not giving up his career because he doesn't think he should be told what to do, even though that is what he says. He's really giving it up because ARGLE BARGLE I'M A MIND READER!!"
With as hard in the paint as NeverTrump Republicans are on vaccines, maybe they were just wanting to control women's bodies after all.
I dunno. Judging by how horny Kristol, French, and crew are for "make those idiots get a vaccine because they're too stupid do know better", it's not too far off to think that just maybe their anti-abortion stance wasn't for saving babies but for controlling women.
I mean, look at their gay marriage stance over the years. They were whole-heartedly against it, railing on how it would cause the downfall of society.
Maybe it's not just women, but people that they wanted to control.
On Earth 4, President Trump is under fire for pushing the vaccine. Democrats are very concerned about how much Pfizer has made.
CNN has replaced their COVID cases/death counter with a COVID vaccine side effects cases/death counter.
The economy is coming back but Blue state governors have demanded truckers have the vaccine before crossing state lines.
Healthcare workers are hailed as heroes still, but only those who publicly reject the vaccine.
