You're the editor of a major political publication. You know that word choices matter. Especially when it comes to headlines. "Missing in action" is clearly a negative connotation to everyone reading, especially when juxtaposed with a 'bad' thing he seemingly should be handling.
Wow, where would anyone get the idea that this was framed with a negative connotation? I mean, Sam clearly meant as a positive.

When I said, "Wow, Joe Biden looks like a big pile of dog shit," I actually meant it as a compliment. I love my dog and everybody shits. You people who are pretending this has a negative connotation are really reaching.

I'm a little late to this but it's absolutely hilarious how transparent the Whistleblower/Transparency 'journalists' are in dismissing & attacking any whistleblower who cuts against their narratives (aka does not attack Dems).
OH MY GOD! The (highly-educated) woman who works in tech is a liberal? Well, this changes everything. She is wholly discredited now because....uhh reasons. The only 'correct' type of whistleblowers are the ones who support Donald Trump (unlike me, who does not support Trump).
Wow, someone potentially, maybe might profit from their leaks? Better ignore the substance then. It's important to personalize it.

And btw, Glem is DISGUSTED that anyone might make money off of leaks. He would never think to do such a thing.

It's actually against the constitution for congress to investigate anything that I've already declared I was right about. If anyone tries to own me, that's a violation of my 1st amendment rights.
Imo, the president and his allies organizing a plot to overturn the results of the election are just 'political activities'. Breaking in to the capitol and assaulting police officers? Also merely political activities. No different than say, calling your lawmakers.
Truly one of Glenn's best self-owns in the last couple of days. And a perfect representation of how 'rigorously' Glem researches his arguments. Weeks!

I've eaten relatively healthy these past couple days so...time to reward myself with cheesesteak round 2.
You just know a place called "Gooey Looies" is going to make a good cheesesteak.
I wish I was a little more shameless about filming because the color commentary as I eat this outside is just unbelievable. An old italian south philly man & woman (with the most perfectly stereotypical philly accents) just smoking cigarettes, holding court and opining on life.

Just circling back and, yet again, the 'no coup, nothing to see here, don't be hysterical' anti-anti-Trump GG-Tracey-Taibbi axis just straight up ignored the report. That's just what they do whenever something doesn't fit their narrative. Truly the most cowardly people.
And it's not like all these stories (that they keep burying their heads in the sand and pretending don't exist) are just some one off articles from like Newsweek or something....they don't even have plausible deniability to say, 'oh I didn't see that.'
The other thing is that they used to pretend that their opposition to any 'bad' Trump stories (especially when it came to the Russia stuff) was solely due to 'anonymous sources' but increasingly it's named sources, many under oath and...they still just ignore/disregard them.

This is just sick. I've run out of ways to describe how awful (and full of opinions masquerading as facts) the NYT & the political media has been...but this is just on another level. Utterly deranged.
Anddd she deleted. Can't wait to see that vaunted @nytpolitics social media guidelines in action. Any day now, they will do something. Just pretend she mocked a Republican. You can do it.
