Breaking up with Twitter?
It's built for a niche audience, but what if you have multiple interests like me. Do my #Fintwit followers want to see my cooking pics? How about my writing followers, do they want to read about Cryptocurrency?

The answer is, maybe. But what if you could tag your posts so your followers could filter what they want to see & read.
Twitter has been experimenting with new ideas of late.
• Fleets, what the hell was that.
• Revue, ok, this makes some sense.
• Spaces, cool knock-off of Clubhouse, it works.
• Super followers, what are we, Marvel?

What else are they dreaming up?
Rather than add these "plug-in" features, why not build upon what's working. In November of 2017, Twitter doubled the character limit from 140 characters (this wasn't fair) to 280. The internet rejoiced! Now people could REALLY express themselves.

SPAM
What if we get a spammer on our tweet. Wouldn't the ability to delete that tweet be amazing! I know this opens a whole can of worms but for us on #FinTwit, it can mean the difference from someone getting scammed out of money or not.

Let's talk about @verified. First you could, then you couldn't, now you can but really, you can't because they have more hoops than a Cirque du Soleil show. Don't get me started.

How about messaging. It's ok, but is there room for improvement? Absolutely. Let's start with search features. Sure, you can search for usernames and groups, but what if you can't remember who had that million-dollar idea last week. How can you follow up?

These are just a couple of features that make me break out into hives @twitter. I still love you, really, I do. But if you want me to put a ring on it, let's get to work.
