Your pastor cannot go out without heavily armed policemen, some even move around with military escorts and SSS operatives. You dare not get close to them without strict security search and compliance with their protocol team.
But they sell stickers with their faces to you and tell you to put them on your cars and doors as a solution to the insecurity that is ravaging the country. The stickers does not work for them, but you believe that it will work for you.

God is not mocked.
God is not an author of confusion.

Jesus Christ did not shield Himself from the people. When His disciples tried to prevent the poor from having access to Him, Jesus Christ rebuked them.
But we have Christian leaders today, especially the pentecostal pastors, living in isolation from the people. It is very difficult, even for members of their mega Churches, to have access to them. They operate like invincible men. They place money over the gospel of salvation.
They dine and wine with the same rotten politicians that are destroying this country. I insist that prayers; or to put it in a more subtle language, prayers alone, will never change Nigeria.
Religious leaders can say otherwise because they are not feeling what the common people are feeling.

The irony is that the mega pastors and imams depend on the same nations where prayers are not relied upon as a panacea for development for their children's education,
their health needs and leisure. Most of these mega pastors in Nigeria have investments abroad.
But they are busy calling for prayers for Nigeria as if United Kingdom, China, Asia and Europe where they constantly run to for solutions to their problems are depending on prayers for their civilization and progress.
My position is that the Church in this country has to redefine its purpose and role in national development. If majority of religious leaders decide today that enough is enough, this country will see significant changes.
We have been praying for decades and things have not changed.

Politicians are using religion to keep the citizens down. They are always referencing God and invoking God's name for their vanities. It is time we begin to march our prayers with actions or stop praying all together.
For me, I had since stopped praying for Nigeria and Nigerian leaders. I will rather use my tools as a lawyer and my civic weapons (protest, criticisms and the likes) to fight for a better Nigeria than pray.
Those who believe that prayers will stop Buhari and other failed leaders from destroying Nigeria further should continue praying.

But while at it, they should know that politicians are laughing at them.

I repeat, praying for Nigeria and the rulers of Nigeria is not my portion.

This is the latest example of the religious lunacy pervading Akwa Ibom State that I have been talking about.

Are we cursed in Akwa Ibom State?
It will not be well with the charlatans that organized this charade for abusing these innocent children for partisan gain. It will not be well with them.

Can you imagine the madness?

What is Akwa Ibom Children Prayer Network?
The same Government that has not been able to build a single model public school in the last six years, in one of the richest States in Nigeria, is forming a prayer network for children whose mates across the globe are building drones and exploring technological innovations.

There is an ongoing deliberate and likely sponsored campaign of propaganda and lies meant to discredit agitations by citizens for a better country.

The imbecilic views that agents of government are expressing in their desperation to stop the #EndSARS memorial is astonishing.
This tweet is an example of what I'm talking about. To the unsuspecting, the author of this tweet is intelligent, but any good student of history will easily decipher the mendacity and frivolity in it.
The military did not leave power out of pity, the military was chased out of power by courageous Nigerians who constantly went out to the streets to protest. Some of the protests were violent because the military, like the Buhari regime, had no respect for human rights.

ARREST OF CHIWETALU AGU IS ILLEGAL AND UNCONSCIONABLE

By Inibehe Effiong

The harassment and arrest of celebrated Nollywood actor, Mr. Chiwetalu Agu, on Thursday, 7th October, 2021 by the Nigerian Army is illegal, unconscionable and unwarranted.
The actor has not committed any criminal offence known to law. The Nigerian Army should stop ridiculing itself before the international community.
Supposing without conceding that the dressing of the legendary actor amounts to "incitement" as claimed by the Army, it is the Nigeria Police that should have responded. There is no evidence of incitement against him. Nothing was inscribed on the said cloth to incite the public.

AKWA IBOM PPRO IS DANCING ON THE CORPSE OF KUBIAT ISAAC

As the lawyer representing the family of Kubiat Isaac Akpan, I have been inundated with messages and calls from members of the public seeking my response to the press release issued this morning by the Akwa Ibom PPRO.
I did not initially intend to respond at this time to the press release but the calls and messages have become unbearable. This preliminary response has thus become imperative.
It is quite sad to see media houses, including prominent and credible ones, publish reports on the press release issued this morning by SP Odiko Macdon, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in Akwa Ibom State, on the murder of Kubiat Isaac Akpan,

MIRACLE MONEY: ISRAEL BALOGUN DETAINED OVER PETITION BY APOSTLE JOHNSON SULEMAN

Mr. Israel Goodnews Balogun has been detained and is spending the night in a cell at the Force Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department (FCIID) at Area 10, Garki, Abuja
over a petition written against him by Apostle Johnson Suleman on alleged criminal defamation and cyberstalking.

Mr Balogun in a video had debunked the claims of the founder of Omega Fire Ministries, Apostle Suleman, that he commanded angels to send and deposit money
into the bank account of some worshippers in Auchi, Edo State and Atlanta, Georgia, United States.

Following an invitation by the police, I reported with my client today at the FCIID where we spent nearly ten (10) hours with the investigation team.
