The easy way to build a business is by selling your most loved skill.

Thing is, most people avoid doing this because that specific skill is too close to their heart – it's part of their identity.

And build a business around that skill feels like building it around your identity
So they avoid building the business because failure will feel double painful.

Once for the failure itself.

And a second time because you failed at something that is at the core of your identity.

But here's the thing.

Society rewards the risk-takers.
And while this double-failure could be extremely painful, there's also the chance of actually succeeding.

This thought of success will motivate you.

And when you win, it'll be a double success.

Once because you won.

And a second time because you won doing something you love.
For this reason, I encourage you to build something around a skill you love.

Having a 9-5 job is a blessing.

If you love your career, pursue freedom with it.

Just don’t think you’ll get paid much more money at the same company doing the same work.

That will never happen.

It's smarter to change jobs, which is the fastest way to get paid more.
But what if you want to build something on the side?

And you want to do it without ignoring your career...

Today you can.

Let me explain.
Today, you have tons of resources your ancestors didn't have access to.

The internet
Smartphones
Social Media
Email
Apps

You can create online instruments that generated consistent income.

You won't even need to get up from your couch.

How to gain 10K followers on Instagram.

On AUTOPILOT!

\thread ImageImageImageImage
I've gained around 10K followers only posting tweetshots.

A tweetshot is a screenshot of a tweet.

All the tweetshots are posted automatically.

My IG page requires no maintenance.

It's on autopilot.

Let me show you what I do. Image
But first...

Think about this.

You can post these tweetshots on
→ Instagram
→ Blogposts
→ Emails
→ eBooks

Repurposing tweets for the win!

It saves you a lot of time and money from creating new content.

Facebook was down.
Instagram was down.

What does this mean for you and your brands?

And how to prepare for the next time it happens?

\Thread
If you spend time online, you'd know FB and IG were down for over 8 hours.

Nobody could post.
Nobody could see new updates.

And productivity and Twitter traffic certainly went up.
Downtime is not uncommon.

What's uncommon is how long it took for the Facebook team to mitigate the issue.

Getting your freelance client can be painful.

So here's how to get your FIRST paid gig on easy mode:

Thread:
First, having zero clients means you don't have a business

So instead of figuring out how to automate things, or creating templates, or reading more about closing deals...

Do this instead.
Reach out to:

→ Your parents
→ Family members
→ Friends
→ Acquaintances
→ Everyone on your contact list

Let them know you started a business.
