Personally I think voice acting would take me out of the experience, but this is an old fan speaking from that perspective, so I'm probably just against change. I suppose it couldn't hurt, but I dont think it makes or breaks a Pokemon game tbh.
There's lots of other factors in Pokemon that I think could make it better, I think voice acting is the least important to making the franchise "better". But a lot of fans are also against innovation when the series...tries things so it's really difficult.
I *personally* think some cutscene skipping (smth I've always wanted), and some more quality of life changes like in SWSH and USUM would make the game better overall, but voice acting feels like a weird option for "making it better". Good VO work can't save crappy writing.
Comparing it to FE3H and MD I dont think is really fair, due to FEH riding off the coattails of FE13, 14 and SoV which all had voice acting in them to some extent. FE13 was going to be the last game too if it didnt sell well.
So you can really attribute FE3H doing well because of the easier difficulty curves that they had implemented since FE13 as the series was intimidating to casual playstyles prior (myself included) and that made it somewhat more appealing.
MD had a fanbase that had been clamoring for a new game since M:oM which was like over a decade ago. A lot of marketing and things have changed since then too, so of course it would do well. And if I'm not mistaken the previous Metroid 3D Games have had VO work--
Including M:oM, but I don't think it sold very well due to other things with the game (Adam was a gripe for me personally), wasn't interested in it's story too much either tbh.
So to say VO work is the way to make Pokemon "better" that's sorta arguable or even not even on the table to make the game more enjoyable. At least in my perspective. But I've been wrong before. I think Pokemon has it's own can of worms to open to make the series better.

Aight #ENVtuber's let's discuss a few things about shitty feelings associated with growth. (THREAD)
1/23
Feeling bad about your growth, especially when your peers seem to be growing at a faster pace is perfectly normal. Hell, I've felt that a few times myself. And it's important to let yourself feel bad about it *in that moment* 2/23
Let yourself feel shitty, eat ice cream or some good food, cancel stream, watch a funny movie, hang out with friends in a call etc. in order to feel "Ok". Not "Happy" or "Positive". Because let's address the elephant in the room real fast. 3/23
#ENVtuber tip: Small Goals are supreme. If you set small goals, it gives you that sweet serotonin because its easy to accomplish and makes you wanna and feel like you can do more. (A thread) 1/16
For example, lets say you have 3 viewer avg in your stream. Set your small goal to something like 7 viewer avg. Now I hear you saying "But thats only 4 people!?" Yes. It is. 4 more people in your stream watching you and interacting with your content. 2/16
Correct me if Im wrong, bc my math do be dookie, but 7 is bigger than 3 no? 4 more people is also achievable. And if you announce your small goal in a sphere where people are watching you (i.e. Twitter) people will be more inclined to help upu reach that goal. Heres why. 3/16
