Value is created when the customer can achieve their dream outcome, WITH a certain amount of guarantee, without putting ANY effort & at blazing fast speed.
So ask yourself what are the key things you can do to reduce the time to value for your customer.
- can you get rid of signups?
- show perceived value?
- offer a guarantee?
- make it 1 click instead of 3?
Github increased paid conversions by 61% when they started recommending plans based on preferences. 🤯

Every user is different, so don't show them all the same pricing options. When Github started recommending different plans to different users, they saw a crazy 61% increase in paid conversions.
After a user creates a free account, they are asked a few simple questions designed to ascertain the number of people who will be on the plan and the features that they'll want to use.
UPDATE: Facebook will count 1 person as 2 people on its platform. People != Accounts.
Here are more details:
Last week, Facebook said they will "change the way they count people".
One person will be counted as 2 people if they have separate Facebook and Instagram accounts.
UNLESS that person have explicitly linked their account in Facebook's "Accounts Center".
Previously, Facebook tried their best to count 1 person as 1 person.
"If someone used the same email address across their Facebook and Instagram accounts or accessed both platforms from the same device, we counted them as one person when they interacted with ads."
Tip: Hunters can still amplify your Product Hunt launch. Start building relationships to get an added boost when you go live.
Thread 👇
There was a time when getting a popular hunter to hunt your product was a big deal. That pretty much went out the window when Product Hunt stopped notifying hunters' followings when they hunted a product.
But the folks at Demand Curve have confirmed that hunters can still offer a significant boost. Products posted by popular members tend to get fast-tracked to the front page, which is a big deal when competing against hundreds of products on any given day.
Last week, TikTok launched over 10+ new marketing features. Here are the ones that are relevant to founders: 🧵 🧵
1. Creator Marketplace/Creator Marketplace API.
Useful for: Influencer marketing, allowing you to use TikTok's first-party data to find relevant influencers to pitch your product to.
2. TikTok Shopping
If a video mentions your product, people will now be able to instantly click and go to your page, rather than manually typing the URL in their address bar.
Tip: If your FAQ schema doesn't have links, you might be missing out on traffic. Increase your click-through rate from the SERP by adding links to your FAQ.
Thread 👇
As you may know, your FAQ pages can be displayed as a rich result on Google (here's how to make that happen). What you might not know is that you can take it a step further and add hyperlinks to your FAQ schema. This can result in more traffic and, ultimately, more conversions.
For information on how to do this, check out @danielkcheung's writeup or @SaijoGeorge's FAQ schema generator (both linked in the Growth Bite).
Can TikTok work as an acquisition channel for SaaS?
