Now about eggs and cholesterol.

The liver produces cholesterol every single day. Cholesterol is very important for the body as 30% of all animal cell membranes is made up of cholesterol. Cholesterol is still used by the body in biosynthesizing bile acids, vit D-

It’s important you know that the highest amount of cholesterol in the body is produced by the hepatic cells of the liver.
There are two kinds of cholesterol, the bad cholesterol and the good cholesterol. The bad cholesterol is known as LDL (Low Density Lipoprotein) while the good cholesterol is known as HDL (High Density Lipoprotein).
As the name implies, the bad one is bad for the body while the good one is good for the body. The bad one increases risks of someone coming down with heart disease, stroke and the likes while it’s not so for the good one as it helps prevent this.
Now, since we understand what cholesterol is, the role it plays in the body, and the fact that it has types, let me bring eggs into the equation.
It’s true eggs are rich in cholesterol, they contain higher amounts of cholesterol when compared to most other foods but they do not increase the bad cholesterol levels in the body. Eggs actually improves your cholesterol profile. They improve your HDL.
And interestingly, eggs do not increase your risks of coming down with a heart disease.
Now, this leads me to the next thing I want us to learn.

One will still argue that, the liver produces cholesterol, eggs contain cholesterol isn’t that too much ?

I will answer that:
Everything that happens in the body happens in equilibrium, it’s just like when u drink alot of water you tend to urinate more and when you sweat more,u urinate less. Now, the liver produces cholesterol, the amount of cholesterol the liver produces depends on the amount you eat.
If u consume more of cholesterol (healthy ones e.g from eggs), your liver will produce less cholesterol as the body already has cholesterol so no need to produce cholesterol. But if you don’t get cholesterol from food, the liver will work to produce one that will serve the body.
Examples of things that can increase your bad cholesterol level is:

1. Being overweight.
2. Smoking.
3. Takeaway foods like hamburgers and pizza.
4. Processed meat e.g bacon, sausages, and hot dogs.

Bottom line:
1. The liver produces cholesterol everyday.
2. Cholesterol (the good one) is important for the body.
3. Eggs contain cholesterol. They contain good cholesterol.
4. Eggs improves ur good cholesterol.
5. Eggs don’t increase ur risks of coming down with a heart disease.

She finds it difficult to bond with her baby. She behaves as if it’s not even hers.

She might be suffering from postpartum depression and she needs immediate care.

She needs to see a doctor for counseling, possibly see a therapist.
As her husband, you have to always be there for her, making sure she gets enough rest as possible and try to understand and bear with her. If it doesn’t get better, medications are then used in the treatment.
The condition is treatable and with proper care and medication(s) if necessary she would be ok. If this is not attended to she is likely going to experience major depression later on in life, cause harm not only to herself but even to her baby.

You should know this by now:

1. When it’s night time take less amount of water.
2. When it’s close to bed time don’t drink alcohol.
3. You’re not to use diuretics at night except your healthcare provider directs u to do so.
4. Don’t take antibiotics if you’re to do a urine test.
When it’s night time, take less amount of water as drinking much water when it’s close to bedtime will interfere with your sleep.
Diuretics are medications that encourages urination, taking them at night can lead to frequent urination, this can interfere with your sleep. Except your healthcare provider says you should go through it. You are not to use it at night.

If you urinate frequently at night then there is a problem.
There is a lot of contributing factors to why people urinate at night which includes: aging, chronic urinary tract infections, drinking excess fluids (like water or alcohol before bed), bacterial infection in the bladder.
Also taking diuretics which are medications that encourage urination can also be a contributing factor to night time urination. For women pregnancy or childbirth can be a contributing factor to why they urinate at night.
