The thing is, when Glem gets a narrative (in this case, it's a bunch of poor, salt-of-the-earth people who were protesting and then it got a little out of hand and are now being persecuted by Dems), he just doesn't even make an attempt to fit reality into it.
Maybe at the beginning you could argue that they were 'just' going after the individual insurrectionists but that's clearly not at all what's happening, given the targets like Mick Mulvaney and Bannon. But Glem is a wholly disingenuous person who doesn't let reality get in the/
way of his narratives. So he just keeps on repeating the same narratives, no matter how fact-free they actually are. And he will just keep on doing so until the end of time. Because that's how you do real, bold journalism.
