#ScottishIndependence10 we thought the @heraldscotland we’re taking the poll doon last night. But they had issues with their website. Back up today, still going well…..
The results are in folks, and We believe the term is “gubbed.” @BorisJohnson didn’t manage to pull off an 11th hour miracle so @NicolaSturgeon takes this one.
We’re looking forward to our chums @heraldscotland publishing a focused, unbiased, in depth analysis of these results!
Just like we’re still looking forward the their focused, unbiased, in depth analysis of the results of this poll from a month ago… #ScottishIndependence12
This is just unbelievable, @Gilfeather10 was already out of touch when he could still get his coupon onto our TV's! And it seems years in the wilderness (or the Evening Express if you prefer) haven't clued him in at all.
Kudos to our colleague @KirstySNP for calling this out. We're glad she has and we hope more will follow suit.
And to those who cast doubt on the SNP's commitment to Independence, stuff like this is why our elected members can't spend 100% of their day as campaigners for Indy.
We have to govern and campaign, while those who doubt our conviction only have to campaign.
It's because Evil like this exists, and ignorant attitudes not only exist but are given column inches that we have to intervene.
Keep up the good work Kirsty.
We've got your back SNPPHD.
Many of our local members rely on the Oil and Gas Industry for their livelihood, but we also recognise that we can't keep doing this to the planet for ever…
One of the ways we can offset the harm done by fossil fuels is Carbon Capture and Storage…
The North East of Scotland has been aware of this for a long, long time, we are ideally placed to do this using existing Oil and Gas infrastructure in reverse.
Things were looking good, until this happened in 2015…
The first Indyref was a period of hope and astounding levels of political engagement, and obviously the following day crushing disappointment. Yesterday was the 7th anniversary of the referendum, many Independence Campaigners took part in the @believeinscot day of Action…
Many Politicians on both sides of the debate commented to mark the Anniversary, those on the Indy side led by @NicolaSturgeon generally lamented the loss, but vowed to keep the hope alive…
As you can imagine certain members of the @ScotTories Branch Office approached this anniversary with their customary lack of grace. None more so that agitator in Chief Murdo Fraser MSP with this typical (and totally lacking in self-awareness) contribution….
Now Douglas is quite rightly concerned about Post Office branches closing, lack of access to cash etc.
And he quite rightly drew attention to it by raising it in Parliament and posing for a wee photo outside a local post office with a concerned look slapped all over his coupon.
But Douglas Lumsden would have done well to do a bit of research first…
Banking regulation, which led to the closure of bank branches in the first place is of course a reserved matter where he’d be better raising this with the UK Gov’t.
It’s been a struggle to find a Brexit Benefit, we were promised loads of them but they have thus far failed to materialise.
That is until today, as some of you may be aware before we became integrated with Europe we used to have the “Imperial System” for weights and measures.
Now from my standpoint the Imperial System was a bit confusing…
Money was counted in multiples of 6 and 12
Weight was counted in multiples of 7 and 14
Length was counted in multiples of 8 and 16
But when we integrated with Europe we (almost) adopted the Metric system. Now it doesn’t matter what you are counting, weighing or measuring using the Metric system it was all done in multiples of 10.
