I see quite a few items on #HRV as a predictor of good health. Nothing new.

As a student in France, that is 30 years ago it was used as generic test for all.

Idea : 30 fast squats, check heart rate before, just after, then three minutes later.

The biggest the differences
it was assumed the better, middle take high, others low rate.

Supposed to mean that heart was adjusting very fast up and down.

I could see from my pals that there was indeed a"visible" correlation.

Also, it was already well known in the 1980s that even for explosive exercise
that is sprints or weightlifting, you required a base of endurance usually at a very young age, before moving towards the "antagonist" explosive power.

Otherwise, your body would not take the training.

Weightlifting school of Bulgaria knew it (plus chemicals).

So it is cold in Western Europe this week as was two weeks ago, the paleo-power-geeks of year 2050 will analyse weather and power data, France having the most electric heating will help them.
Let me help them now : 80GW peak consumption is a nice threshold of peak consumption
When has 80 GW been reached this fall, how does it compare with other years ?

Think about it for a second, plenty of information there.
So the answer is : not yet. If is not tonight, will be tomorrow.
Last time that landmark was reached later : 2009.
For those who have followed the market, looks strange, is it not ?
In October 2009, highest price ever in France (full spot allocation failed)

Politically incorrect poll on French nukes :
So nuclear generation has fallen a bit between "good years" 2012-2015 and 2016-2019
In what quarter has the output fallen the most 4 years on 4 years ?

Easy ? A harder one to follow
OK, good participation, now the tougher one, which is the opposite question, in what quarter did nuclear output in France drop the least between 2012-2015 and 2016-2019 ?
Lowest drop IN PERCENTAGE terms.
Thanks a lot for taking part, as I expected, for those familiar with "the issue" the first question was easier, the second not so much, second question result showed proportion of correct result less than random. Even though I have educated some who improved the average.

Pushed beyond my rusty boundaries by @paulportesi and @edw_perry
When I was younger (some time ago), in thermodynamics was mostly using U = internal energy and H = Enthalpy both state function (not depending on path), Energy say E way too imprecise.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enthalpy
Now you'd say for practical purposes, who cares ?
If you want to assess how much weight you will lose through say exercise from energy content of food tables/chemical reactions (usually stated as H), there won't be much difference E/H/U due to the already significant imprecision
Quick shortcut : climb 1000m, lose 125 g fat (for say a 80kg dude with friction).

But where U/H precision matters A LOT in practical purposes is e.g. efficiency of Combined Cycle Gas Turbines (CCGT) especially when considering Low Heating and High Heating Values (LHV, HHV)
