…, “anti-Blackness”, “colonialism”, “Genocide”, etc in these educational activities to coddle white feelings because that’s not how whiteness works. Whiteness, as both a system of dominance, violence, exploitation, & extraction & an identity rooted in this system,…
…thrives in shadows of vagueness & generalizations because by not being named, it can co-opt whatever “soft euphemisms” are leveled at it to benefit itself. Ultimately, systemic change (read dismantling, abolition, & transformation (creation)) is the goal. Education
…or Training to shift norms & culture is only one, but insufficient, vehicle towards that end, & needs to be in service of these systemic changes. The most powerful tool we have, then, is the truth. And that is call a thing by its name. Boldly & unapologetically.
