At least 12 Chinese have been elected Chiefs in Nigeria. It's a way for the locals to retain the involvement of the Chinese personalities in local affairs once a project (mainly railway) is finished. Some are honorary, some have real powers to run a domain.
This chief is the head of Confucius Institute. Being a chief, they have a say in the local affairs. They usually mobilize funds to build schools and other useful minor projects of public welfare. Every village wants a Chinese chief. 😄
One Chinese engineer has become arbiter of village disputes. He was so respected that he was granted the title of chief. Even after he has gone back to China, he has his deputy representatives administer the village affairs on his behalf. He comes back once a year to audit.
What did Kong Tao do to merit the title of chief:

"In addition to the busy work, Kong Tao spent a lot of time on doing good things for local people. The Pai Pei village near the railway project has a public elementary school, the school building is crumbling,
Kong Tao led people to build three brand new school buildings. After that, Pai Pei village elementary school also became Kong Tao's centre of interest. He and colleagues often participated in the school activities, the local people called him "Principal Kong".
He personally financed the construction of the road connecting to the Muslim Hajj meeting point and the access road to the central garbage disposal site in Gosa. He also built a simple soccer field for the children of the village of Karamajiji."
All the people elected "chief" won the title with extraordinary personal contributions and leadership over the years.
These people are out of school engineers. Initially, the locals asked favors, like, "Can you use your machine to drill a well for us?". These young engineers are very interested. It doesn't cost them much. One little miracle after another, villagers thenbestow title of "chiefs".
These are supremely capable individuals. They're knowledgeable, have machines, technology, funds and authority. Looks as if they can solve a lot of concrete everyday problems for the locals. Kong's subtitle is "engineering chief". It's the awe of the locals to industrial power.

China's rising is completely changing the life of the humanity. China now masters some high-tech and is willing and capable of putting such know-how at the service of the whole humanity at affordable cost.

Take 5G as an example, without China, it will take the world decades
to enter the 5G era and the cost would be doubled.

If  China hadn't mastered high-speed railway technology, China wouldn't have been able to meet its own vast needs of internal transportation and its economy wouldn't have been able to develop so fast.
1/5 of humanity benefitted from such tech know-how.

It wouldn't have been possible for China to export high-speed railway to many developing countries at relative low cost.

Japan's first high speed railway Shinkansen was built in 1964,

A Taiwan professor is warning Taiwanese not to answer the ads of CIA to become CIA anti-China spies. China's counter intelligence is formidable. Pretty much upon spies' arrival in China, their identities are already known. That's the reason China could Immediately arrest the two
Michaels when circumstances required. Their spy activities were closely monitored.

Spies will spend long years in China's prisons. If your ethnicity is Chinese, the CIA can't care less. The two Michaels are white men, so the CIA treated them fairly and organized succor.
There's no international sympathy for Chinese anti-China spies.

Taiwan declared that 3000 heroes have sacrificed their lives for democracy in their spy missions on the Mainland meaning these spies were exposed, imprisoned and abandoned. When Taiwan spies are released from

Chinese people are amazed America can't even solve a minor insignificant problem like this, while China's ports are automated requiring only 10 people to operate.
China's social media is warning Chinese not to underestimate America. It might be retarded in some areas, but is still a powerful enemy... 🤔

Let's feel sorry for Kyle Bass who will lose US$30 million in November for his unfortunate attempt to short Hong Kong dollar. He leveraged his bet 200 times, so all those who lent him money for the political gamble will see their money vaporize.

newsrnd.com/news/2021-10-1…
Kyle Bass styles himself after George Soros and expected to win where Soros failed. He betted the democracy loving Hong Kong residents will be so disgusted with the national security law that they will pull up their stakes and flee Hong Kong in fright and panic.
causing the free fall of Hong Kong dollar. Unfortunately for him, the Hong Kong dollar soared after the national security law which secured the value of Hong Kong dollar and guaranteed the continued prosperity of Hong Kong. Bass is the financial martyr of democracy.

Latin America's US$ trap explained:

US$ supremacy means it's an international currency. In many countries, US$ can come in & leave as it likes. Thus emerging economies are extremely vulnerable to US$ movements which US Federal Reserve can manipulate through interest rate.
Thus, US can program the cyclical economic prosperity and crisis in many countries. Both are useful for the US to reap the accumulated wealth of countries.

Have you wondered why US stops at no means to make every country adopt market economy allowing unrestricted
capital movements? When US talks about freedom, it's the free capital flow they have in mind. That's the politically correct way for a country to exist in this world, because only this can enable US$ capital to control the world.

How you wondered why developing

According to locals, Xinjiang is the birthplace of oriental carpets (Iranians, don't kill me. I'm quoting Uighurs) which are Xinjiang's main export commodities. In the Uighur town Kashgar, a whole street is dedicated to carpets. Best pieces are on display in museums.
So far, the Victoria and Arabia Museum in London, the Textile Museum in Washington, D.C., and the Handicraft Museum in Frankfurt, Germany, all have Xinjiang wool carpets or silk carpets in their collections as treasures on display for visitors to admire.
@paaayam1986
Iranian carpet dealers confirmed to me Chinese Xinjiang carpets are extremely competitive in the international market of oriental carpets. I suspect the carpets in their shops are probably.... better keep my mouth shut. 😃
