what distinguishes a cobbler who owns a shop and a brand name and probably repairs shoes to that mallam that roams about using a stick to hit a wooden box to attract customers who wants to repair their shoes is simply ‘POSITIONING’

Now, why is POSITIONING important? 😀
You see, as a business owner, the quality of the services you render and even the pay you receive for a job you just delivered is judged by the way you position yourself
In your business and the perceived value in your product.
People will never underprice your work because of how well you've been able to position yourself. They see you as an authority in your field , they can perceive it trust me .
When it comes to business, Positioining is one of the most powerful marketing strategy or concepts
It helps create a form of reputation in the eyes of your customers. So the way you have positioned your business is precisely the way your customers see it to be.
You can't be telling someone that you sell authentic human hair meanwhile the hair on your head has turned to sponge 😏
You can't be introducing someone to a business that earns you 6-7figures meanwhile your profile picture is looking like someone who hasn't eaten in years.
Or in your business page, there’s no form of value, testimonial or anything at all that proves that you’re impacting in lives. C’mon!!!!! Who are you deceiving? 😒
No one will listen to you! . You need to understand the concept of positioning in your business and
make adjustments where is necessary.
That doesn't mean you should lie! But let there be a reason why someone will pay so much for your services. Why they should trust you!
Having said that ,
Here's a take-home assignment for you in positioning your business.
1) Write out how you would want people to see you as a reputable person or an authority in your business
2) What would you want them to think about as soon as they come in contact with your profile or business page?
3) What values can you offer in your business?
4) What differentiates you from your competitors?
Once you’ve been able to answer these questions , you’ll clearly know how to describe who your company Is or what your business is all about .
This will help fish out your ideal customers and give you a sense of authority when
people visit your business page 👌
