First event in Johnson's constituency. Frightening lack of engagement today, but then we did have competition from a wildlife stall & Bertie the owl who was truly MAGNIFICENT! #takebackbritain

Our results came from interesting conversations on hard hitting questions about Johnson's performance as constituency MP for Uxbridge & South Ruislip & PM. /3

Yes, there was 1 guy who thought 1k covid deaths a week was acceptable, but then I did have to explain to him that Johndon was his MP. He didn't know that. I wonder what planet some people live on! 🙄 #takebackBritain

Another conversation with sitting tory Councillor - didn't vote tory in last election (ie DIDN'T vote for Johnson) & neither did her husband. She feels squeezed out by the extreme right of the party & is exhausted. She won't be standing again. Respect to her. All 'no' answers

1 woman answered 'no' to everything except the NHS question. She thinks the NHS is safe in BJ's hands. She works in the NHS. Go figure... 🙄

Good to engage with people & talk 1-2-1 with them. We need these conversations to be taking place everywhere. EVEN YOU! You don't need a whiteboard. Just chat to people on the bus, at work, in the family, down the pub. And join a local group if you can (see tweet 1).
