7th: Look low to the SW from 5pm to see bright #Venus to the left of the 11% lit crescent #Moon. Good photo opportunity.
8th: A now 20% lit #Moon is to the left of Venus this evening. Look SW from 5pm.
9th: Ganymede's shadow crosses #Jupiter's disc from 15:00 to 18:35 UT.
10th: The 41% lit #Moon sits just below #Saturn this evening, with Jupiter off to the left of the pair. Look S from 5pm. Good photo opportunity.
11th: The 52% lit Moon sits just below #Jupiter this evening, with Saturn to the right of the pair. Look S from 5pm. Good photo opp.
11th and 12th: Peak of the Northern Taurid meteor shower. The ZHR is only 5 but a broad peak means you may spot one or two while out observing on any night this month.
16th: Ganymede's shadow crosses #Jupiter's disc from 19:08 to 22:36 UT.
19th: Full #Moon. Partial lunar eclipse. The darkest part of the eclipse from the UK occurs as the Moon is setting. Watch from 6am. An opportunity for some interesting photographs during the darkest part of the eclipse as the Moon is close to the horizon.
