To Protect Fauci, The Washington Post is Preparing a Hit Piece on the Group Denouncing Gruesome Dog Experimentations

For years, the @WhiteCoatWaste was heralded by The WPost as what they are: an activist success story uniting right and left. But now its work imperils a liberal icon, Dr. Fauci, so they assembled a team to suddenly and falsely smear them as a MAGA-funded, anti-science operation.

For five years, the Post heralded the group when they were denouncing experimentations under Trump. But now that their work is a threat to Fauci, the Post suddenly demanded vast financial docs and, when it turned up nothing, demanded they pledge not to take "pro-Trump" donations.

Corporate media outlets like the Post always vehemently and angrily deny they have a political agenda, insisting they just do nonpartisan reporting. Few believe them any longer, but rarely do we see such a vivid case of the real ways that they work:

Yesterday, @WhiteCoatWaste had a 30-minute call with The Post's @bethreinhard and health reporter @yabutaleb7. They told the group that any reporting reflecting negatively on Fauci could undermine his COVID efforts or cause a backlog of calls to NIH. That's their mentality.

And by the way: this is the kind of reporting one is free to do if beholden to no corporate outlet. That's why they always try to disparage independent platforms like Substack as "no real reporting" or "just culture war grievance blogging": to discredit what they can't control.
