I’ve had dozens of SaaS ideas throughout my business journey, but I don’t have the time to execute on them.

So here’s a gift.

5 ideas that you can become the founder of:

Idea 1:

Problem: It's hard to pay employees in other countries

Solution: A SaaS payroll to pay remote employees in any country

Imagine paying W-2 employees remotely in 40 countries...
Not easy at all.

We need a SaaS that lets you pay someone as an employee, not independent contractors
Ideas 2:
Problem: Attribution.
Solution: Attribution platform to track customers across different platforms.

Customers visit your website from:

>Mobile
>Desktop
>Work computer

Businesses need analytics to track multiple devices,

And no Saas does this.
Attribution is key to tracking your business channels

The data lets you improve the channels that are underperforming...

And without it?

Attribution is hard!

Huge opportunity here.
Idea 3:
Problem: Lack of email marketing for SaaS.
Solution: Platform of email marketing for SaaS

We have:

Klaviyo for eCom stores
Mailchimp for marketing a bit of everything

But we don’t have an email platform that is great for SaaS
If someone builds one?

They’ll make big money.
Idea 4:

Problem: Finding great talent
Solution: SaaS recruiting platform

Imagine typing in:

"Marketing leaders with experience in this industry can work X hours per week and my budget is Y grand per year."

And a qualified prospect lands in your inbox
I've tried:

Upwork
Forums
Hiring recruiters
Staffing agencies

And the best one is recruiters but they charge too much.

If there was a SaaS platform that did this, I would've signed yesterday.
Idea 5:

Problem: Getting leads
Solution: Pay per lead marketplace SaaS

I'm willing to pay $100/per demo and the customers have to fit this ideal profile

And you get charged for every lead
You can check the lifetime value of your customer (e.g. $100) and pay $300 per new customer
Or,

We could have lead generators where people say:

"I can get 200 leads. They're paying $300 and their credit card is there?"

And boom, they send cold emails.

It’s a marketplace where lead generators and a business that knows its costs

They can easily pay to get leads.
Remember
Every business needs more customers.
And every business needs more leads.
The solution is you providing that as a service.

It's a fantastic place filled with thought leaders, business people, entrepreneurs, freelancers, etc.

These people need your SaaS - use Twitter to get in front of them.
#2 Cold email

Cold email is one of the best ways to get traffic.

You can directly contact the exact people your SaaS is meant for - so start sending cold emails!

#3 Cold calling

Yes, cold calling works.

Similar to cold email,

Use it to directly contact your target market.

The business I'm talking about is uplead.com, we build B2B prospecting lists.

And here's why I turned down ~$75M for it👇
#1 They were buying a slight majority stake (50-60%), they weren't buying 100% of the business.

I was going to be the CEO while not owning the whole business.

Selling the whole business is different than selling part of the business.

#1 Raising your prices is the simplest way to increase your revenue.

It's scary but worth it.

You think people will leave but most won't.

Do it.
#2 Don't obsess with churn in the early days.

You're just starting.

Worrying about churn early will prevent you from seeing what makes them churn.

He listened to all our business pain points and offered advice.

He cheered me and said "Dude, keep doing what you're doing. Focus on x - not y".

He does this with other founders too - follow him.
