Trans people: we have this horrible, crushing issue where our brains tell us we are the wrong gender.

Therapists: let us fix this.

Therapists: (several hundred years later): we cannot seem to fix this.

Trans people: this still sucks.

Endocrinologists: ok, our turn.

Endocrinologists: we can change the body to match the gender your brain is set to.

Surgeons: oooh, we can help too...

Trans people: wow, this is so much better... our suicide rates diminish, we feel functional and can have happy lives now with greatly reduced dysphoria...

TERFS: oh wow, this makes us super uncomfortable because we don't understand medicine.

Doctors: trans people exist and benefit from transition.
Psychiatrists: yeah, what they said.
Endocrinologists: yep.
Biologists: yes.

If I wanted to have sex with women, it is far, far, far, far, far cheaper to hire a sex worker than go through tens of thousands of dollars of mental, physical and chemical work just so I can get into a ladies loo.

Wanna see boobies? Strip clubs are like a thousandth of the cost of transitioning.

I don't want to invade women's spaces for the patriarchy. I don't want to have a fucking thing to do with the patriarchy, except help to burn the fucking thing down.

I just want to look in the mirror and have my outsides match the thing that is screaming in my head which tells me everything is weird and wrong, that people who aren't trans cannot possibly imagine.

I have zero interest in sleeping with people who don't know I am trans or intersex. Because I don't fuck bigots as a hard rule.

What the fuck, just let me flip my goddamn hormonal switches, get some plastic surgery and correct my legal markers and get on with my fucking life.

It has ZERO impact on anyone else.

If you are scared about accidentally having sex with a transgender person, maybe, and hear me out on this crazy theory, maybe you should spend a little more time getting to know the people you wanna fuck.
