How to get leads with cold email when you're selling a saturated service.

THREAD
"Saturation" of a service doesn't technically exist

Saturation of a combination of Angle + Offer + Market DOES.

You need to change the approach angle.

Let me walk you through some examples
You're going to take your service and section off the parts of it.

All of the things that could otherwise be sold as a downsell - you will now use as the core angle in your cold email.

Really liked how @camduncannnn broke down funnels yesterday

Here's what he wrote...
Before the site (actually getting people to it):

- Facebook ads
- TikTok ads
- Google ads
- Lead generation
- Affiliate marketing
On the site (converting them while they're there):

- Conversion rate optimization
- Webinar building
- Offer creation
- High end copywriting
- Sales video creation

Taxing unrealized capital gains lmfao you gotta be kidding me
Hello mr owner of this house

I know you saved for 10 years to afford this down payment but your house has appreciated $100k this year

You now owe us $20k

But if it goes back down next year we don’t owe you anything

Got about 20 DM's of people asking me to help them with their offer last night

Biggest takeaway:

You're trying to sell the solution to a problem that doesn't exist
"I'm selling digital marketing and lead generation to storage companies"

Storage companies are all at 95% capacity they don't need digital marketing
"I'm trying to sell landing pages and lead generation to doctors"

Doctors don't need lead generation they're also all 100% booked

I’d argue about 50% of the time it’s not you who’s bad at getting client results

It’s that the client has a shitty offer
You have to learn to detect what is and what is not a good offer

Only way to do this is to be in the trenches actively seeing who is making money doing exactly what

Such is the reason asking how much money prospects make is important

If they’re making nothing it’s for a reason
Example:

“We do Facebook ads for e-commerce agencies”

Okay, do you do the creatives?

“No but we give the client guidance on creatives”

Then what is the point of working with you?

The creative is literally the entire ad

You sell ads as a service but don’t make ads?
