We're still digesting the Article 6 texts. But, on the cover decisions...
Many of the ideas first published as bullet points are not in the revised text.
Most of these are not lost, they have agenda items where outcomes are expected.
There are references to important scientific outputs expected next year, including from the @IPCC_CH. Next year is the start of the technical phase of the Global Stocktake, so science will matter doubly.
Much of the language in the cover decisions is broad. This isn't unusual. There are two types: 1. Those that tie together mandated work (e.g., Paris Agreement, Bali Action Plan) 2. Those that don't have a mandate, and capture a political understanding. COP26 is one of these.

In the informal stocktaking, President Sharma says that there key issues where there is no clarity on a way forward.
He asks parties for their solutions and guidance on how to proceed. #COP26

Canada supports strong language on mitigation and rights of Indigenous Peoples in the cover decisions, but says loss and damage discussions not reflected in the text.
