The speaker then chants "hang Dan Andrews" in what can only be described as a violent and anti-democratic call. Most of the crowd refuses to repeat the chant.

In the crowd are a mix of Trump flags, American flags, Australian ensign flags, conspiracy and anti-vaxxer signs.

One sign reads:

"Not hesitant anti rape vax. Stop censored vax death."

Not sure what this is intended to mean, but there's a predominantly nutty tone to it.

A man tells the camera the crowd of a thousand or so is the 99.99% of Melbourne who will fight government digital monitoring and resist the New World Order by defending the Magna Carta and protesting new pandemic laws. 🙃

And if anyone thought there was so much as a whiff of credibility to this lot, look what the cat dragged in. Craig Kelly addresses the crowd of stupid and gullible far right nuts at the #Melbourneprotest. There is no legitimacy to this cause.

Kelly tells the crowd they should not have to participate in a "medical experiment" (he means the vaccine). He is a stupid man, and he's dangerous because he knows how to push the buttons of the very stupid people he's revving up.

Most of what Kelly is speaking about is anti-vaxxer claptrap, and his party taking over Parliament by winning all 151 lower house seats. He tells the crowd once UAP has control of Parliament, they'll come for Dan Andrews and "bring him to his knees".

A man now tells the crowd about how "Safe Schools" is "when the war started", and that was "so evil and so wrong." So the group, who are militantly against medicine, are also militantly against the welfare of children. Good to know.

A man addresses the crowd, calls out Big Bird who is working with David Koch from Sunrise, together they're apparently part of the "agenda to control you, where you live and what you get paid" and this is just "the beginning of it". Note the TRUMP flag. #Melbourneprotest

The crowd now chants "Where We Go One We Go All" - this is the Qanon motto, abbreviated to WWG1WGA.

The current speaker thanks the Victorian Bar for standing with them — it is clear the Bar has brought itself into unprecedented disrepute which will take considerable time to remedy. In the next breath are false suicide statistics.

This pair, who claim to be registered nurses, tell the crowd they are prohibited by AHPRA from telling you "what they're injecting into you" and they could lose their jobs over their vaccine claims. To get around this, they tell the crowd to do their own research.

Another speaker claiming to be a nurse, tells the crowd vaccines are "the most insane concept" the medical world has ever come up with. A perfect segue to the next speaker, none other than Facebook disinformation lout, Bernie Finn. Finn now telling tales of secret police raids.

Finn incorrectly tells the crowd Melbourne is "the most locked down city on the face of the Earth." This myth was debunked some months back.

The speaker now demands Dan Andrews be jailed. Apparently blissfully unaware of just how un-Australian and anti-democracy such calls are. It echoes chants at the January 6 siege.

This lady, up now, claims to be a teacher, says she's stood by for 10 years as tyranny has unfolded. Says the "dictatorship" is "enslaving" children and teachers must stand up against it. These people are so horribly lost and it's difficult not to feel sorry for them.

She claims children have been gagged by their own carbon dioxide (masks, she says). She wants to "change the course of history as part of her God-given mission" to fight the vaccine.

This guy has written and is performing a whole trailer trash rap about his dislike of vaccines.

It's really long and it's impossible to make out the words as he's mumbling, so the crowd's just kinda dancing awkwardly. If you look closely, you'll note Qanon VIP Bunnings Karen in this snap.

This lady tells the crowd to camp out at Parliament from Monday in their thousands and to bring pots and pans.
