JCCF and Koch dark money defend and fund the effort to spread doubt and denial.

Imagine having a debate whether the Holocaust or Rwanda massacres were real?

But because these deaths happened over several years, some people believe it’s a hoax?

bc.ctvnews.ca/ubc-cancels-ta…
The article says the film maker disputes the description of the graves as “mass graves,” not the fact graves were found.

The fact graves were found at a residential school at all is damning enough. But she wants to bicker about the description of dead children en masse.
It is incorrect to state these graves are mass graves.

Mass graves are when several people are murdered at once and buried together. Mass numbers of graves of children at a school is worse than a mass grave.

It means the genocide was sustained over several generations.
The attempt to undermine the impact of those facts is repugnant.

This isn’t free speech. It’s an attack on the legitimacy of the facts. By introducing the word “hoax” in any context regarding the graves of dead children, it undermines the legitimacy of the narrative.
And that’s all these depraved individuals are after. Sowing doubt. Convincing as many Canadians as possible to doubt the veracity of the claims of widespread abuse and violence in Indian Residential Schools.

And that is a despicable objective.
There is a reason the far right and Dominionist Christian community is motivated to do this. Because they are the ones responsible for the dead children. And responsibility implies reparations and compensation.

Zero sum game to grift the system and escape expensive payouts.
Most people don’t understand the overall impact of the church and super wealthy on economics. They see the outcome and believe the absence of dead children would have made the actions of these entities more acceptable, perhaps laudable.

But it doesn’t.
While indigenous people didn’t share the same concepts of property ownership and land title as Europeans, that’s irrelevant.

Europeans came to the Americas to plunder its natural resources. To take resources and make profits by selling them in Europe.
I don’t believe most Canadians realize the level of wealth that has been extracted and hoarded by European merchants, aristocrats and religious institutions since first contact.

Every resource extracted from North America and put on the open market is stolen property.
The scale of the theft is so large it’s difficult to visualize.

However, several current wealthy magnates and land owners in Canada & Europe have North American resources as the foundations of their wealth.
If we go back to first contact, monarchs, merchants and the wealthy were much less wealthy than after contact.

The treasuries of Spain, Britain, France, Denmark, Russia, the Netherlands, Portugal & several of their citizens were enriched by plundering North American resources.
What if all those profits were returned to the people who they rightfully belonged to? It would bankrupt Western Europe and collapse the global economy.

This is precisely what was done to indigenous peoples. Land & economies were stolen & destroyed to enrich wealthy Europeans.
Genocide was committed for generations to enable the reaping of the bountiful resources of North America. And it continues to present day.

Many are insulted by the term “settler” because it denotes negative criticism of their presence here in Canada.
But all those present in Canada who partook of those profits are responsible for the continued genocide of indigenous peoples. So I don’t believe “settler” is an appropriate term. Exploiters and servants are more descriptive of the role non indigenous people had in colonization.
Those who exploited the land & its resources benefitted from property that wasn’t theirs only to exploit & hoard profits. The servant class that accompanied them didn’t really have a choice but to survive. So all immigrants are not the same. This is my personal opinion of course.
Most people live their entire lives completely unaware (and disinterested) in how economies and markets function. Rather they get a job, pay their bills and don’t really understand how and why they require a job and to pay bills, they just do because that’s how things work.
But that’s not how things work. That’s how the wealth class have designed it to work.

The wealthy (monarchs, aristocrats and merchants) staked claims to property and resources and then charged others for access to the resources and products derived from them.
There is no precedent in ancient history that the wealthy have more rights to those resources. It was always “might makes right” (or force) that hoarded resources and charged for access. People used to pay with their labour before money was created.
Now it’s an exchange of one’s labour for money to acquire the necessities of life.

Those who labour for wages are not the decision makers regarding who owns what resources or land. They are the servant class. Middle or low incomes don’t matter. They all serve the wealth class.
It’s the monarchs, aristocrats and wealthy merchant class who make those decisions. That’s who plundered North American resources and that’s who is responsible for indigenous genocide. Then and now. And that’s who is paying for repugnant documentaries to sow doubt about genocide.
Politicians like Jason Kenney, small business owners, and the average worker are just servants to the elites. They maintain the system because they personally benefit. But it’s the wealth class who have designed the system to maintain control.
We are the ones who permit the wealth class to enforce this hierarchical system of plunder & pillage. They have no legitimate claim to withhold resources. None.

It’s just because they say so & their brutish ancestors who enforced restrictions of resources to their control.
Nothing but the human construct of law & property ownership maintains this system.

Which is why the wealth class pays so well to maintain property ownership as the primary focus of conservative & libertarian ideology.

The system is this way because society supports it to be.
The vast majority of people can’t envision any other way to do it. We vehemently guard our possessions and property because the notion of the absence of property ownership is a foreign concept. A paradigm shift. Many believe this to be Marxism. But it’s not.
It’s just a different way of viewing property and land. If there are no owners, then everyone can partake in resources without restrictions. Hoarding is unnecessary and counterproductive because it wastes precious resources. Priority shifts to preservation to sustain all in need.

PART 4: ACTIVE MEASURES

In the 1970’s, a Russian man defected to Canada. He revealed how KGB destroyed enemies.

Not with war. By planting the seeds of self destruction and fostering those ideas into the political milieux to create social collapse, anarchy & animus.
How was that accomplished? Using libertarian ideology. Promoting extreme egotistical hedonism, a society would collapse in chaos, anarchy and violence. Incapable of democratic cooperation & compromise. At that point, annexation occurred. The nation cannot defend itself.
So divided in conflict and chaos, institutional failures and political, economic and social instability, an organized defence can’t be made. And the territory and its assets become easy pickings.

But it is a long game strategy. At minimum 25-30 years commitment.

Very interesting thread.

Planning a long game strategy takes years. Working out the details takes effort. Planning for all contingencies takes a big picture view.

Dominionists & libertarians have been planning the transformation of democracies to authoritarianism for decades.
When plans written in 1997 are realized 20 years in the future, there was a strategic plan that got them there. The corrupt don’t rely on kismet or chance. They plan meticulously.

There are so many bread crumbs that lead back to the CNP, Koch Brothers and Dominionists.
It sounds like a bad Bond 007 movie, but it’s real.

It involves the super wealthy, organized crime, organized religion, most of the world’s most powerful dictators, corrupt politicians and compromised political parties.

I’ll tell you what the NDP climate change plan is.

Turn everything over to First Nations.

UNDRIP & LandBack is their climate plan.

For some unknown reason NDP seem to think all FN people are noble savages aiming to save the planet.
I’ve never heard of anything so ridiculous, racist and short sighted as their plan.

But that’s what ignorance produces.

Many FN oppose pipelines. But many do not. The majority of reserve residents who are employed are involved in some kind of extractive industry.
Oil, Natural Gas, Lumber, Mining (diamonds or minerals).

That’s the entire rural economy. Extraction of raw resource materials. Many independent farmers supplement their income with seasonal extraction industry jobs.

But ideology doesn’t consider reality.

People choose to believe what they want to believe.

Often it is not the truth.

When the truth is terrifying, many look for something to exploit to deny reality. The alternative is to pay attention and prepare for what’s coming down the pipe.
For too long skeptics and deniers have refused to consider the political machinations of those who call themselves conservative have crossed the line into authoritarian territory. Some make reference to it, but never actually label it accurately. Afraid of being wrong.
Afraid of criticism.

Afraid of being called a conspiracy theorist.

But several people have been warning of fascist extremism for years. Always criticized and ignored because if we are correct, the public has been complicit in turning a blind eye and denying reality.

Some of the comments accompanying this article reveal how ignorant of history most people are.

Yes Nazis were evil. But they did pull Germany out of the Great Depression and punishing reparation payments thrust on them because of WW1.
They did it by building a war machine. Men & male youth were indoctrinated to venerate war & conquest. Much of the economy was based on preparing for war & expansion.

They also built infrastructure to modernize. The Autobahn & other infrastructure projects employed the people.
The economic theory used was autarky. Self sufficiency. Nazi Germany wasn’t a true autarky; they did permit investment by foreign investors.

Similar to contemporary conservatives, monopolies & cartels supported the regime for economic dominance.

What have I been saying for 5 years?

Far right “conservatives,” “Dominionist Christians,” paleolibertarians, and anarcho-capitalists are fascists.

UCP
CPC
GOP

They all have white supremacist roots which is also known as fascism.

Glad we’re all on the same page finally.
It’s about effing time!

These are not regular political parties. They’re neo fascist fronts using religion to avoid scrutiny and challenge to their ideology.

#NeverAgainIsNow

Open your eyes and remove the veil of denial.
These parties have been neo fascist from the start. For CPC that would be since Reform Party days. And for GOP, since Reagan.

The question isn’t what they are and what they believe

The question is how do we remove them from power as soon as possible?
