7 limiting beliefs about flipping that is stopping you from building a 6 figure Amazon business

//THREAD//
#1 “Starting On Amazon Is Hard”

Like anything else..

It takes time to start on Amazon

But with the tools and information available today

It’s never been easier to build a multi 6 figure business on Amazon.
#2 “If people can buy it in a store, they won’t pay a higher price online.”

Imagine paying a small premium to get stuff at your doorstep instead of driving 30 minutes

People love convenience

Add the current supply shortages...

You’ll have no problem making a profit online.
#3 “I don’t have a lot of capital to get started.”

You don’t need to.

If you’re selling high ROI items or do high volume

You can turn $500 into over $300k in sales in a year

I did it.

And I’m a father of 5.
#4 “I don’t know how to find good items”

You can join a Leads Group for $50-100/month and get dozens of leads a week

And you can learn how to use advanced tools like Tactical Arbitrage to find more leads than you ever need.

@CoachJoeHart has a great one.
#5 “I don’t have room in my house to start shipping items”

If you can’t ship items from home, just use a prep center

For $0.75 -$1.25 per item, you can have your items sent there

And they will ship them to Amazon on your behalf
with their FBA program, Amazon packages, ships, and handles all customer service

So you’re completely hands off, and don’t have any inventory coming to your house

I know many sellers making 7 figures this way.
#6 “Once people find profitable items, they drive the price down and become unprofitable”

Think of it like investing in stocks

If you invest in one stock, it can go to zero

Same with flipping

If you’re only selling one item, this could happen and you become unprofitable
But if you're selling dozens of different products per month

They’ll either grow profitable, stay profitable and you'll lose money

But it averages out to a great return

It's almost impossible to lose money reselling if you're doing volume the right way.
#7 “I can’t scale it into a legitimate business”

You can use your profits from reselling to

> Hire a team
> Rent or buy a warehouse
> Start buying wholesale products

This way you’ll have lower margins, but way bigger volume

And you can start scaling to 7-8 figures in sales.
BONUS

Use your capital from flipping to start your own Private Label product

This way you’ll own that item and you can do variations on it

Private Label can bring you 7-8 figures in sales

And even become a sellable business that you can exit from.

Some old guy stopped me in the store and started telling me a story

Guy was 70-80s

ALWAYS stop and listen to what sage wisdom they may have to impart

He began

“My friend Jim forgot his anniversary..”

(Cont 👇🏻)
“His wife was livid. She told him:

‘Tomorrow, when I look out in the driveway, I better see a gift that goes from 0-250 in seconds.’

Sure enough, the next morning she looked into the driveway and saw a box. But it was much smaller than a car..?

She opened it to find..
A bathroom scale.

I haven’t heard from Jim since.”

Then the old man walked away without another word 😂

How to find niche flips

A question I am asked often: how do you find collectibles and limited items?

There are lots of different ways - this is my favorite.
I get a little distracted, and if you do too, that is great news!

Getting distracted and following your curiosity is one of the best ways to find profitable items.

How to find Wholesale Suppliers

(the easy way)

/thread
Amazon is getting stricter with sellers.

Lose a shipment?

They won't take a receipt, they need an invoice.

Retail / Online Arbitrage is a great way to start and to make a good living

BUT

You should hedge your business with multiple sources of business income.
Wholesale is a great option - here's why:

-Lower prices
-Higher barrier of entry
-Larger product selection
-Get ungated in anything they carry
-Lower margins but higher volume/ availability

How to go from $0 to $2000+/month flipping

/thread
People message me all the time asking how they can start flipping with $0 cash.

It's easier than you think.

This is how.
Find free stuff.

People give away free stuff ALL. THE. TIME.

They don't feel like donating it or selling it, they would rather you come and pick it up.

-Go get it
-Clean it up
-Sell it on Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace

When I first started on Amazon, I bought a course by @MediaBoca that taught me how to sell used media on Amazon.

Most interesting to me was the books.

But I did not like going into most thriftstores / Goodwills because it was either junk or over priced.
