📍 Gingee fort, Villupuram
Explore the fort's beautiful interiors. Tanks, granaries, halls, marriage halls, and several more unusual locations can be found here. One can always find some time to pay them a visit.
📍 Perumal peak, Kodaikanal
The walk begins at the foot of the peak, at Perumal Malai Village, about 11 kilometres from Kodaikanal. It's around 7 km and takes about 4 hours one way. The majority of the hike is somewhat strenuous, with a few steep spots.
📍 Avalanche lake, Ooty
Check around for the beautiful assortment of flowers that can be found across the property, such as orchids and magnolias. If you want to click some amazing pictures, this is the place.
📍 Swamimalai hills, Yelagiri
Walking up these hills, which might take more than an hour, is the first step of your journey here. The spiritual aspect of this hill, as well as the tranquillity of the setting, make it an ideal place for meditation and spending a quiet weekend.
📍 Kotagiri, Nilgiris
Longwood Shola Reserve Forest is an excellent location for hiking and scouting for wild animals. Exploring the tea garden is another enjoyable way to spend your time in Kotagiri.
