Thats because India had the highest number of typists when the Constitution was being copied from many countries... Each typist was assigned to copy from one country... Ambedkar used 13000 Fevisticks to stick all the pages together..

I wanted to download the Instruction Manual to a Canon DSLR camera and print it... When I downloaded the PDF... that itself was 324 pages... Hahhaaa.. Who the hell will read a manual of 324 pages.. I decided to browse only a few pages.. @sri9011
No.. the legal blah blah is not in the manual at all.. thats a separate booklet.. I thought 324 must be multiple languages like English, French, Spanish etc.. But no... 324 is entirely English alone...

You should see the Pilot's manuals.. there will be 4 or 5 of them.. each as thick as the old telephone directory... and if the aircraft faces a problem... the co pilot often searches the manuals for answers... painful procedures... LOL!...

Hahha.. No.. the aircraft manufacturer gives them printed manuals... but if theres a problem they can also be in contact with the company engineers for guidance at any time..
