Bad news: There is still something weirdly wrong with my brain. Not only do I keep losing focus after some times, but when it happens it hurts (localised headache)
Good news: It's less worse when I work than when I play the piano. And it's linked to tiredness (fine at first).
I shouldn't complain that much as work is what I need to do (with frequent breaks like the one I am taking now).
And it's getting less worse and less worse: This morning I was fine.
I doubt it's long Covid. It was really bad for 10 days and keeps getting better.
Not sure what it is tho, so just in case I'll take an antibody test before to get my 3rd dose. My PCR was negative but maybe I took them too late (post-kid exposure, maybe I was sick before?)
It's a little weird, I just hope it'll get better.
(It's very "specialised", BTW. I have no problem speaking English or learning a few words of Swedish -no brain pain. But yesterday I found myself unable to do a simple substraction. My mind just went blank. Same on the piano, it's fine and suddenly I don't know anything anymore)
There.
That was the (slightly anxious) rant of the day, and I can now get back to work.

Seventh time the ISP box lost the Internet connection this afternoon.
I’m not annoyed at all, after all I just need it to f*cking work
(Not like the power will be cut all morning tomorrow because there will be repairs except oh wait)

Question 3e dose vaccin
"Although vaccines greatly reduce the rates of serious illness and death caused by COVID-19, they are not as effective at completely preventing the disease, and long COVID can arise even after a mild or asymptomatic coronavirus infection."
= We need to control the spread
An addendum on that based on my French covid-ridden village
The transmission hub is the school
After a closed class for a week returned on Friday, today we were told a new case has been spotted,.
The rules have changed.
(Wait for it)
Now a positive test in the class means all the kids have to get tested before to come back.
So my 5 year old will be tested tomorrow morning to get back to class in the afternoon if he’s negative.
But
Positive case was spotted today.
So he was probably infectious Tuesday.
Me: Trying to work (Seriously I need the money I really need to work today -a lot)
My neighbour (That is, 10 meters from my window at most):
"Today is the day for sawing all my wood!"
It's been going on for two hours, I just can't anymore
Hey let's eat early today hoping neighbour will 1/ eat late 2/ take his time
I mean two weeks of Covid fog then when I finally feel able to focus for like hours in a row this 😩
I’m just too exhausted for the world tonight
Anything you got that would make me smile?
BTW when I’m that tired, I often give (static, I guess) electricity discharges to anyone who touches me (sorry, kids)
It’s not just me right?
And does anyone know how come?
Oh gosh to uplift my spirit I made the deadly mistake to type “fun” in (French) Twitter search bar
😬
OMG Lord (and/or Who/Whatever) preserve me from more shows for the children
Another hour in *hell*
Why would anyone think because it’s for the children it can be unimaginative, illogical and mindlessly stupid?
I guess it was supposed to be “poetic”
It wasn’t
First thing, a candle in the middle is a bad idea. Tho it “only took” half an hour for the storyteller to realise it was tricky for kids to touch her poster as requested right behind the lit candle without burning alive.
Oh, and the story…
“The Universe is like you kids: It has two eyes, a nose, a mouth, ears, two hands & a heart. It also has special powers. It can close its eyes! Can you close your eyes like the Universe so you’re in the dark like it is?”
My future scientist 9 yrs old: “Wot?”
