There's more in the @OntarioAuditor report on the Ford government's COVID supports to businesses: province paid out vastly less than it announced it would spend on pandemic relief property tax & energy cost rebates. #onpoli
The auditor also found the province paid another $16 million in property tax & energy rebates to companies that were not eligible. So far, the government has recovered just 5% of those funds (about $850,000). #onpoli
