#COVID19 in a perverse way helped - once in there was no way out of #lockdowns - #COVID trained us forced us to find solutions
Its been an amazing learning process - coordinating services across multiple vendors for system components - each all too eager to blame the other
Inspite of all ambitions the sector is still nascent - lack of trained manpower and service providers - too early to expect competent #turnkey contractors yet for 10 to 15KVA off-grid systems
But planned well u can have a fully functional smart solar powered home-establishment with all modern amenities including heating and air-conditioning
Biggest learning - plan for redundancy in every aspect particularly backup and storage. Intermittent sources mean intermittent power.
a lot of queries for what happens under rain, cloud and fog conditions.....u plan for intermittency through storage and back up.
