"Practice your love languages on yourself"

- Thread
1. Words of affirmation

Be kind to yourself. Say good things about yourself, like :

"You're doing your best."
"You are so beautiful!"
"I'm proud of you."
"I love you."
2. Quality time:

It’s healthy to spend time alone.

Stop letting people make you feel selfish for putting yourself first.

Do whatever makes you happy :

- Listen to happy/nostalgic songs
- Watch a funny film
- Make something
- Take a walk
3. Acts of service

It’s okay to give yourself a break every once in a while.

Do something nice for yourself, prioritize sleep, allow time for creative activities, clean your room/get organized.
4. Physical Touch

listen to your body and give it what it needs.

Do the things that makes your body feel good.

Love your body and take your time moisturizing your skin every morning.
5. Gifts

Buy something for yourself: flowers, shoes, your favorite dress, foods and other things you love.

Spend money on the things that gives you joy.
In other words, don't wait for someone else to offer you the love you want and deserve.

Start being intentional and actionable about how you love yourself.

It makes all the difference.
You live your life on auto pilot because you don't know what to do with your life.

Read the book "Live Intentionally" to change your

- habits,
- daily routine,
- mindset,
- become strong and
- disciplined.

"Meditation for those who think they can't meditate"

| Thread
The first thing is the mindset towards meditation. There's a specific image that people have in their heads.

The sitting upright, cross legged on the floor image with absolutely no thoughts in your head is what people think meditation is.
It is meditation, but it's pretty advanced, & not good for beginners.
Number one, to meditate upright, u need perfect posture, which isn't going to be possible for the average person.
Ppl who do sports or some other athletic activity could sit like this, but not the layman.
