2/ Step 1: The Influencer/Creator Must Enable Ad Authorization:

Enabling Ad authorization will allow your to feature the Influencer's video in TikTok advertisements on behalf of your brand!

Here's how to enable ad authorization:
3/ Influencers will take the steps laid out below in order to grant ad authorization:

โœ… Tap on "Me" and tap the three dots at the top-right corner

โœ… From the "Settings and Privacy" page, click "Privacy"

โœ… Turn on the โ€œAd authorizationโ€ toggle Image
4/ Step 2: The Influencer Must Authorize the Video for Promotional Use:

๐Ÿ‘‰ Open the TikTok video that you want to use

๐Ÿ‘‰ Tap the three dots

๐Ÿ‘‰ Tap "Add settings" Image
5/ Step 2 (Continued):

๐Ÿ‘‰ The Influencer needs to agree to the โ€œAdvertising Terms of Serviceโ€ to authorize the video for ads Image
6/ Step 3: The Influencer Will Generate a Video Code:

โœ… Once you open the video, click the three dots, then tap the "Ad settings"

โœ… From the video's "Ad settings," tap "Generate Code," then select the number of days advertisers will use the video.
7/ Step 3 (Continued):

โœ… Creators can choose from seven, thirty, or sixty days.

โœ… Tap the โ€œCopy Codeโ€ and share the code with the brand. Image
8/ Step 4: The Brand Owner Will Enter the Video Code in Tiktok Ads Manager

๐Ÿ‘‰ Go to the โ€œCreativeโ€ tab

๐Ÿ‘‰ Open the "Spark Ads" list, click the "Apply for Authorization" button

๐Ÿ‘‰ Paste the video code in the "Search Bar" then click "Search"

๐Ÿ‘‰ Review post & click "Confirm" Image
9/ Worth noting...

If you collaborated with influencers through TikTok Creator Marketplace, you won't need to manually generate and apply the video code
10/ Instead, you can directly synchronize the video from the TikTok Creator Marketplace to TikTok Ads Manager
11/ You'll just need to check a box on the collaboration workflow before posting and synchronizing the videos. Image
12/ Let's get back on track here though...

After adding video codes successfully, you can now start creating your Spark Ads!
13/ Step 5: Create and Publish Spark Ads

โœ… Create a campaign, then set up an Ad group

โœ… Select the Spark Ads format at the "Ad level"

โœ… Under "Upload creatives," click the "Select Posts
14/ Step 5 (Continued):

โœ… Choose the authorized post or video you want to use

โœ… Finish creating your ad

โœ… Click Submit Image
