I just wrote this letter to my MP who is thankfully voting against vax passports today. I know it may seem like a futile cause but for the reasons I try to explain in my letter, I think it's very important and not fruitless. Please write to your MP whichever way they're voting!
Dear Greg,

Thank you for your hard work on behalf of your constituency over these last 2
years. In 2019, I voted for the Conservative Party for the first time. I did so
very reluctantly and my decision was largely based on your personal voting
record and direct interactions we’ve had.

In view of this, I am delighted to see that you plan to
oppose the Government in the vote later today.

I am not naïve - it seems the PM will be able to force these
measures through with the help of the opposition but I believe your vote
matters nonetheless.

You will be well-familiar with the arguments against vaccine
passports, which are laid out in under 4 minutes by David Davis here ( ()).

Specifically:

- They don’t work to curb the spread of the virus
because, sadly, this is not a sterilising vaccine
- The sensible measure for preventing the spread
of the disease is rapid testing prior to entry into large venues
- The mandate for NHS and care worker vaccinations
will cause the loss of 30,000 care staff and 70,000 NHS staff at a time when we
can ill-afford to do so

Given how obvious it is that these measures will not stop
the spread, it seems credible that their actual purpose, at least in part, is
to encourage people to be vaccinated.
Due to my public opposition to these
measures I know and speak to a disproportionately large number of people who
this may be aimed at. I can tell you with 100% certainty that these measures
will likely have the opposite effect and discourage people from taking up
boosters or ever considering being jabbed at all.

Firstly, everyone who wants to be vaccinated is already vaccinated.
And, contrary to the media narrative, the overwhelming majority of unvaccinated
people are not looneys – they have good reasons for not taking the jab:

-
Many, like me, have already had COVID and have
naturally-acquired immunity

-
Some have legitimate concerns about the adverse
effects of the vaccine. Mercifully, these cases are very rare but if, like a
colleague of mine, you watched a close friend collapse after taking it (despite
no history of seizures) and nearly die, reluctance is understandable. Yes,
statistically-speaking you are more likely to be injured by COVID than by the
vaccine, but to coerce someone into having an injection which nearly killed
their friend in front of their eyes seems to be the height of cruelty-
The increasing authoritarianism the Government
is engaging in, combined with outright medical segregation we see on the
continent, is making a growing number of people uneasy at the direction of
travel and will only entrench opposition among people who are already hesitant –
since we know these measures won’t stop the spread of the disease, what will
the Government try next?
I know that it may seem fruitless to vote against a measure
which appears certain to pass but you should know that it is not. As someone
born in the Soviet Union, I watched hundreds of great men and women, including
members of my own family, stand up for what they knew to be right in the
knowledge that they would achieve nothing except marking themselves out for
punishment. But, over time, the chorus of dissent they generated became
impossible to ignore.
I know that exaggerated comparisons have been made between COVID restrictions
and some of the worst atrocities in human history, including by fellow MPs.
What is happening now is clearly not the Holocaust and to suggest otherwise is
silly.

But to pretend there are no
historical lessons that are useful is equally myopic - this is not the first pandemic
in human history and as someone from a Jewish background, I know all too well
that the human desire to find a scapegoat for natural disasters is sadly very
strong.
I hope this letter might be helpful in maintaining your
resolve to oppose these and future measures and encouraging others to do so.

Very sincerely,
Konstantin Kisin

Are you wondering why Dave Chappelle is being attacked by comedy critics and reviewers?

The "here's what you missed about Dave Chappelle's latest special" megathread:

If you read the reviews of the Closer, you will notice several common threads.
1) They are more concerned with the politics of the show than the jokes
2) They claim he is obsessed with other people's genitals and transphobic
3) They are completely at odds with the experience of most people who clearly loved it
If you're wondering how this happened and why critics are so at odds with what you saw with your own eyes, here is how:

Many people want to grow and develop but ignore the things that you actually need to live life powerfully.

9 things I recommend learning to do:

1) Get motivation from being underestimated. Few people ever see your full potential. Enjoy making them see.
2) Actively seek out negative feedback. Learn to strip out the emotional content and only focus on the substance. What are they saying you can improve? Take that, discard everything else.
3) Plan to fail. Most people have dreams of perfection. They see their diet/business/relationship working perfectly and when it doesn't, they give up. Expect it and you'll be mentally prepared.

You’re struggling to understand why some people are vaccine hesitant. The “let me help you” megathread:

Imagine you’re a normal person. The year is 2016. Rightly or wrongly, you believe most of what you see in the media.
You believe polls are broadly reflective of public opinion. You believe doctors and scientists are trustworthy and independent. You’re a decent, reasonable person who follows the rules and trusts authority.
Imagine your shock then, when Brexit, which you were assured won’t happen because it’s a fringe movement led by racists for racists, happens. The polls, which widely predicted it wouldn’t happen were completely wrong.

I am sure thatTalkRadio will get their YouTube channel reinstated. They have the lawyers, the connections and the money. I will be delighted for them when it happens.

However, it doesn't matter. Today is the day we can all be 100% certain that free speech is over. Here's why:
When Big Tech censored @nypost's story about Hunter Biden during US election, I told you (as a non-partisan) it was the biggest story of 2020. Big tech decided what was true in an attempt to influence an election. From there it gets worse:
As covered by @ggreenwald, the Biden cabinet is packed with former big tech executives. His administration will do nothing to deal with big tech censorship. The only chance was Trump winning and being so pissed off that he took a sledgehammer to Section 230. Congress won't help..

News Update #7 from the People's Republic of Lockdown for 18 Nov, 2027

The Government has announced that the lockdown will be extended for a further month after police officers responded to reports of a serial sneezer loose in central London. This marks 75 months...
...of continuous lockdown but Prime Minister Dawn Butler has promised this extension will be the last one. Her statement was received with apathy as anyone who cared about living ended their life years ago.

Meanwhile the toll from the deadly coronavirus continues to rise...
...with the 14th wave said to be one of the most lethal events in living memory, causing nearly as many deaths as toe stubbings, bathtub drownings and ice cream van accidents combined.

An emergency meeting of THYME confirmed the need to crack down on misinformation about...
