It all started when we wrote something with @palomi_rock
The intro was so good & had so much new data that we decided to make a 'short' review/update of pannexins in #immunecells, focus on cell migration.
But things got out of hand & we started to include more cell types 😅🤷🏽♂️

Then, @LpzLpz_Tami joined to help with migration of immune cells, such as #DendriticCells, #Tcells, #Neutrophils, and to do the beautiful figures @BioRender 😍
Next, @APalacio_s joined to bring a broader vision of migration's impact during neuroinflammation, senescence, etc

About to publish we noticed that there was were many interesting data on #cancer cells so we added a new section for them, & also discuss about #cellcomm.
Interestingly, #Pannexin expression can either increase or decrease the migration of these cells.
The question was why?

There is no definitive answer but it's definitely worthy to study how #cytoskeleton & #CalciumSignaling are differentially regulated by these ion channels.
Moreover, the #mechanosignaling of these proteins has not yet been studied in depth but some data is starting to pop up.
